Transformed from a forgotten dark brown relic into a statement piece, this upcycled drinks cabinet exudes charm and sustainability. To give her an up to date make over she was completely stripped back. Beautiful Moonshadow, a deep teal, has then been applied to her top and sides but her doors and drawer fronts have been left bare and treated with a nourishing wood oil to show of her glorious grain. To complete her new look the beautiful Avian Sanctuary has been added which details peacocks, blossom flowers and more.She has a lot of storage space with 2 large cupboards, these have been backed with a textured damask design paper which has been finished in gold. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to find out more! This beautiful Art Deco drinks cabinet has been sensitively restored to its former glory and would make a unique statement piece in any home. In addition to looking great, this cabinet offers ample storage with two spacious side cupboards, a central dropdown cocktail cabinet and two spacious drawers. The main body has been cleaned, sanded and filled before being painted in Fusion’s Ash, a smoky dark grey colour that combines well with any home decor. The exposed veneer has been sanded, to get rid of the old varnish, and treated with 3 coats of Osmo oil, to bring out the beautiful wood grain pattern. An art deco stencil design has been added to the front of the drawers and drop-down leaf. On the inside, the back panels of the cupboards have been lined with an art deco design. This has also been applied inside the drawers and complements the overall colour scheme. All paper has been given three coats of varnish for durability. Inside the dropdown cocktail cabinet still has all the original glass intact and is perfect to preparing your cocktails. A new USB motion sensor light has been added. This can easily be detached to be recharged. All glass is original hardware has been cleaned, primed, and painted gold to bring it back to life. This really is a fine example of British furniture manufacturing. The paint used on this piece is waterproof, however, it is still recommended to use coasters and dusting should only be done with a slightly damp lint-free cloth. Any chemicals should be avoided.
