I know I owe all of you all full laundry room photos. The room is done and working SO well for us! That is why it has taken me so long to reveal it...it is difficult to capture a photo when the room not in full use! I did want to share one of my new favorite things in the room though and that is my laundry drying system. I had originally wanted the fold down wooden system from Ballard. I did not love the price or the function of it though. I decided to roam Ikea for a solution and I found one!!! Their towel bars work amazing for drying laundry! Ikea Towel Bars for laundry drying rack I bought two of the swinging racks that will dry up to 8 adult shirts and one double 15" towel bar for shirts that dry on hangers. I put mine in the corner, so I only have 90 degrees of rotation to spread out the bars, but if you had a longer wall, you could really dry a lot of clothes! I truly do love it! No more shirts and sweaters draped over chairs on top of the washer and dryer. No more flimsy folding drying rack either. It is a perfect, inexpensive solution! Give it a try! More full laundry room photos coming soon...I promise! Isn't that blue door happy?!?! I love how they turned out!
Whether you have a big laundry room to work with or are outfitting a laundry closet, stacked washer dryers are a space-saving strategy that works every time.
