We love, love, LOVE easy kid art ideas. While dreaming of warm, sunny, summer weather, my preschooler and I channeled some good-time summer vibes with this super cute and fun colorful flip flop artwork! Colorful Flip Flop Artwork This post contains affiliate links. Thank you for your support! For my full disclosure policy, click here! To do this activity, I traced our feet onto corrugated cardboard and then cut around them to create the sole. (Note: If I were to do this activity with a larger group of children, I would have ditched the cardboard and just gone with cardstock, or even cereal boxes. The corrugated cardboard was pretty difficult to cut out!) Then, I cut out straps from drawing paper. Then, we pulled out our oil pastels and got decorating! (Oil pastels definitely aren't a necessity. We just like how they feel gliding across paper. Markers, twistable crayons, or even watercolors would do great too! Plus, they don't smear.) Once we finished decorating our soles and straps, we just glued them together! Voila! An easy and cute art project to do with the kiddos!
