If you are experimenting for the first time try on a very old t-shirt which is not in use anymore. Here are some of the DIY ideas turning your old one to a super cool tee. A Crop Top This is the easiest way to make a boring t-shirt to a super cool crop top. Simply cut along the hemline of the sleeves and outside of the collar hem. Decide the length and cut straight line in the back side of the shirt. For the knot detail at the front, start from the bottom of the shirt at the center and cut to the length of your shirt diagonally. Do both sides by creating two triangles. That’s it. Enjoy your new T-shirt! Off-Shoulder with a Heart This is the stylish away to create a stunning t-shirt. All you need is a used large t-shirt, scissors, scrape piece of contrast fabric, markers, Sewing machine. First cut-off the collar of the shirt and make sure it turned into off-shoulder top. If you want to keep the collar you can leave it. Draw a heart design on the shirt just like heart shape in the picture using marker. Inside the shape of the motif draw the lines 3/4inch apart. Carefully cut on the line inside the motif. Turn your shirt inside out and place contrast piece of material over the heart and pin it. Now sew around the edge of the motif and each one of the grey stripes down the middle, this will hold the heart so it keeps its shape. Turn the shirt inside out and trim the extra fabric around the heart and voila you’re all done! T-Shirt with Fringes All you need is sleeveless tank top, scissors and a measuring tape. First cut the bottom hemline of the t-shirt. Then measure the required length and cut 2 inch wide fringes any how the thickness of the fringe doesn’t matter, but thinner the fringe better they look.
