Highly engaging and great fun! Here’s a challenge to get through those summer months or summer camps. Try this STEM project at any time of year and be amazed as your students engineer a slide that transports a toy to a splash-down at the bottom! ➡️ Click here to save 20% on this STEM resource in a bundle of 3 projects. What is the challenge? Students will be using materials to plan a design and then construct a working water slide that will transport a toy figure down the slide- without leaking water. The main materials for the slide part are not waterproof so students must plan for waterproofing. The slide must also resemble a slide, have an optional turn in it, and have an access point- like a ladder. Students will use the steps of the Engineering Design Process.
