I chose this dressing table because it makes a unique statement piece - the only one of its kind I have seen. It stands on Queen Anne legs and features beautiful carved detailing, a lovely scrolled edge and small shaped upstand at the back. There are two useful drawers with ornate gilded pull handles. I have part painted the body using chalkpaint in Stone Rosie which is a subtle off-white, and given the paintwork a waxed finish. The paint and woodwork make a striking contrast. I have sealed the wooden sections with Danish Oil. I have also lined the drawers with oil cloth which can easily be removed. I have paired it with a reupholstered stool and a freestanding gilt mirror. Both are listed for sale separately. A truly unique and beautiful piece which I am delighted to be able to share. The dressing table table measures 113 cm wide, 47 deep and stands 86 cm high with an additional 8 cm to the top of the upstand. PLEASE NOTE: I am based in Somerset and you are welcome to collect in person or arrange your own courier. The price I have quoted for shipping is a guide only.
