The original home was built in the shape of the Hebrew letter “Chet," which wrapped around an open courtyard. The courtyard was closed off to become flexible public space, and now lies in between two private living areas.

Rio Cabinet by punt "The Rio collection builds on my fundamental design language by working with honest, artisan and local materials to achieve unique designs. For Punt I selected solid wood, structured glass, marble, textile and brass to create a collection of cabinets and lamps. Rio is about the balance of materials and the balance of proportions," Sebastian Herkner. The Rio sideboards have in common that they are all set on solid marble cylinders. They provide stability and grandeur in contrast to the precise and finely crafted cabinetry above. The slender wooden frames and push-to-open doors with different inlays such as structured wood are a kind of bridge between the two pedestals. The dialogue between all components creates a sophisticated character.
