TGIF Peeps!! Hope you all have had a great week, it has been non stop rain and gloom here in southwest MO all week. So I thought I would try and chase away some of the gloom with a bright sun shiney card. I hear that yellow and gray is a hot color combo right now and I can certainly understand why after working with them. I wanted to use some of the new and coming to customers in April, "Summer Smooches" products. I finally dove into the Designer Paper and Daffodil Delight seam binding ribbon. The base of the card is Basic Gray card stock and then I added pretty piece of DSP. I then used another piece of basic gray card stock that I had embossed with the dots folder. The stamp is from the "Just Believe" stamp set from Stampin' Up. I stamped it with Basic Gray ink onto the whisper white card stock. I then used my Boho Blossom punch and punched a few flowers with some daffodil delight card stock. the smallest flower at the top is made with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. I "cupped" all the flowers by using my mat pack and stylus. Lay the punched flower onto the foam piece from the mat pack and using your stylus make small circles in the middle of the flower which makes the flower curl up a bit. I added the flowers to the card using my tombow glue. I then added a pearl to each flower center. The sentiment comes from the SAB Elementary Elegance stamp set. I used the 1-1/4 inch and 1-3/8 inch circle punches to make the circle sentiment piece. I added a row of pearls under the sentiment and some pearls to the corners. Thanks for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!! Vicki

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is shades of yellow, and I do love a cheerful, sunny-looking card. Since I don't have a submarine stamp *grin* I went with (what else) flowers! This gave me the perfect opening to use some new preorder items from the 2021-22 Stampin' Up! annual catalog, and that catty is something to look forward to, let me tell ya! Today's project uses the Color & Contour bundle, consisting of the thirteen piece photopolymer stamp set and 8 piece Scalloped Contours Dies. Oh, my heart, they are so beautiful! There are pierced, stitched, dotted, and embossed scallops which are going to make lovely layers. I used the dotted scalloped border on some Pansy Petals DSP and glued it to the Basic White card base, then stamped the leaf flourish in black. The flower outlines and the spatters were stamped in Bumblebee and the flower fillers in Mango Melody. The coordinating die cut the blossoms out and they were then adhered over some loops of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon. All that was left was to stamp the greeting and add some gold Metallic Pearls to the centers of the flowers. I really like this card and think I'll do some more in different colors with different greetings. That's my share for today. (splitcoaststampers.com) One day a couple of weeks ago I came across this card HERE and loved it! Finally had time to case it today! Same theme and layout but changed the colours, stamps and dies. This is a mix of SU!, PTI, MFT and Verve. Thanks for looking!

For the scramble challenge I chose yellow for my least favourite colour, not sure why because it's such a happy colour! I stamped the Friendship Definition on yellow vellum and white embossed the flower on it twice so I could cut and layer it. The Antique Flower Background is one of my faves and I haven't used in quite awhile so it got inked up in yellow too. I really like how the yellow turned out with the white and bit of black. I should definitely use it more often! Thanks for a great challenge Greta!

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop song title is "Green Eyed Lady" by Sugarloaf. I couldn't pick just one favorite green; I had to use three on this card. My first fave is Granny Apple Green, but I added some Lemon Lime Twist and Mossy Meadow to make the greenery pop. The Exposed Brick embossed background really sets off the Timeless Arrangements die cut greenery, don't you think? That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps.
