Well, how cute is this little note card!? I found some 1-1/2' wide strips of designer paper from the Countryside Inn designer paper (ok, I found a LOT of strips), so I thought.. I wonder how they'd 'stack up' on a Stampin' Up! Basic White note card, and look at that... they fit perfectly!! Each piece is cut at 1-1/2' X 3-1/4' to fit perfectly on the note card front. This stamp set is so cute, and perfect for a little bit of coloring to bring these kiddos to life! I stamped the little girl with the birdy

Welcome everyone! Hope you are as excited as I am to get some inspiration on all things new from Stampin' Up. I am sure that the Krew will not disappoint! I chose to use Stampin' Up Sending Smiles Stamp Set that will be available along with all sorts of new stuff starting May 3rd. Today's card not only features a new stamp set, I used new DSP and another stand alone die along with the new 2022-24 In Colors. The card front is a panel of Sweet Sorbet card stock with Stampin' Up 2022-24 In Color DSP adhered to it. I cut a strip of DSP and adhered it to the left side using liquid adhesive. I cut a piece of Basic White card stock using the new Stampin' Up Stylish Shapes Dies. I see this being a go to for any card! I stamped flowers and stems using Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party ink on Basic White. I die cut the flowers using Stampin' Up Sending Dies. I adhered the Basic White stitched circle to the card front using liquid adhesive. I adhered the flower pieces to the circle using Stampin' Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I die cut the sentiment "sending" with a piece of Sweet Sorbet. I adhered a piece of Stampin' Up Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Basic White. I die cut the detailed "sending." I carefully peeled the backing off the adhesive sheet and layers the sentiment die cuts together. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a piece of Basic Black card stock. I die cut the sentiment and adhered it to the card front with liquid adhesive. I finished the card front with Stampin' Up 2022-24 In Color Matte Decorative Dots. I adhered the card front to Orchid Oasis card base folded in tent fashion. The inside is a panel of Basic White with DSP adhered to the side. Thank you so much for "hopping" by! I can not wait to see what everyone has created! Up next is, Amy Koenders. 1. Hello and welcome to my blog and this month's Blogging Friends Blog Hop. This month we are hopping in support of World Ovarian Cancer Day on May 8th. We wanted to show survivors, and those that may not have survived, along with their family that we support them. I hope that you find inspiration in this month's hop, and find a little hope as well. Welcome to the 3D Paper Trimmer May Blog Hop as we showcase projects created using products from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you. As you know, I love clean and simple designs, so today I thought I would share a simple fun fold card featuring two of the new 2021-2023 In Colors from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I am not normally a pink girl, but I must admit, I have been won over by the beautiful Polished Pink and it pairs wonderfully with Soft Succulent, especially for floral designs. I chose to use the Color & Contour Bundle for this card design. I love the artistic images in this stamp set and the scalloped rectangle dies were perfect for the layers of this fun fold. Products Used: Color & Contour Bundle (item #158356) New 2021-2023 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #155641) New Polished Pink Cardstock (item #155710) New Basic White Cardstock (item #155710) Polished Pink Classic Ink Pad (item #155712) New Soft Succulent Classic Ink Pad (item #155778) New Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad (item #132708) Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155521) New Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon (item #155780) New Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220) Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430) Measurements: Polished Pink Cardstock Card Base - 4 1/4" x 8 1/4" (scored at 5 1/2") Focal Layer - 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" Basic White Cardstock Focal Layer die cut with Scalloped Contour Dies Inside Layer die cut with Scalloped Contour Dies 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper - Polished Pink Front Panel - 2 1/2" x 4" This fun fold card design is easy to create and is suitable for a variety of occasions. To create the fun fold, you simply need half a sheet of cardstock (4 1/4" x 11") and you cut it at 8 1/4" which leaves you with a piece that is 2 3/4" x 4 1/4", which works perfectly for the focal layer of this card. The designer series paper panel has a wonderful tone on tone design that works well with the floral theme of this card. I stamped the background of the Basic White focal scalloped rectangle die cut with the spots background image using Soft Succulent Classic ink. On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flower image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die cut it with the coordinating die. I colored the flower with the coordinating stamp with Polished Pink Classic ink and the leaves were colored with the Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Marker. I attached the flower to the scalloped rectangle die with Stampin' Dimensionals and attached the focal panel to the Polished Pink cardstock panel. I tied a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the left side of the panel and added Basic Rhinestones to the focal design for a touch of bling. For the inside panel, I attached the large scalloped die cut to the inside of the card. To complete the card design, I attached the focal panel to the front of the card, attaching it with Stampin' Dimensionals on the left side of the focal panel so that the card can still open. I made sure to line it up so that it was centered over the inside panel to provide a pretty scalloped frame. I chose not to add a sentiment for this card, but you could add a sentiment to the front panel as well as the inside of the card if you wished. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my fun fold card design will help inspire you to explore the wonderful products in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
