Die Sportanlage in Nanterre, nordöstlich von Paris, umfasst ein Fußball- und ein Rugby-stadion sowie einen Bogenschießstand, der in einen lang gestreckten Hallenbau integriert ist. Im Zuge eines Wettbewerbs der Stadt wurde das ehemalige Industriegelände zwischen der Autobahn A 86 und der Seine neu gestaltet. Die Halle und zwei Tribünen markieren die drei Sportbereiche baulich; die Architektur greift die Durchlässigkeit und das Lichtspiel des angrenzenden Parks entlang der Seine auf und setzt die Landschaftsmotive in aufgelösten, verzweigten Konstruktionen gestalterisch um. Entlang beider Spielfelder ist je eine rückseitig begrünte Stahlbetontribüne angeordnet, die 300 bzw. 500 Zuschauern Platz bietet; alle Nebenfunktionen befinden sich unterhalb der Tribüne. Eine räumliche Struktur aus nebeneinander liegenden Kragträgern, die in einzelne Douglasie-Bretter aufgelöst sind, bildet die Dachkonstruktion und gliedert diese in 14 bzw. 24 Felder von je 2 x 10 m. Die strukturgebenden Bretter sind nach Werkzeichnungen in unterschiedlichen Längen und Winkeln computergesteuert zugeschnitten und zu zweischichtigen Seitenwänden der Träger zusammengesetzt. Die Verbindung der Ober- und Untergurte mit den innenliegenden Diagonalen ist mit traditioneller Schwalbenschwanzverbindung ohne Stahlteile ausgeführt, während die äußeren Bretter mit den Diagonalen verschraubt sind.
