While in San Diego's Balboa Park one day last October, I happened to run across the Ichiyo School of Ikebana's show/exhibition/sale. ["Ikebana" being, of course, the Japanese art of flower arranging.] It was held in the Casa del Prado, one of the beautiful and historic buildings resurrected from the 1915 Pan Pacific Exhibition that was held in San Diego. Various of San Diego's horticultural societies and clubs hold shows and exhibits for the public to enjoy throughout the year in the Casa del Prado.
