A tipple of two cities, The Kaikyo Distillery’s 135 East Hyogo gin takes its inspiration from both London and Japan. You’ll find the latter first in the name, which salutes the Akashi Meridian running past the distillery at 135 degrees east longitude, and the Japanese botanicals such as cedar wood, shiso leaf, chrysanthemum, sansho pepper and yuzu. As for London, the city’s influence is unmistakable in the bottle’s London Dry Gin style.
