The Wallace Collection dates this burgonet to around 1550 but it looks quite similar to ones worn as of the 1520s and througout the Italian wars. There is a Bourgonet very similar to this (though far more sumptuosly decorated) in the Hofjagd und Rüstkammer in Vienna which belongs to a light field harness made in 1520 for Konrad von Boineburg (von Bemelberg) by Wolfgang Großschedel.
