These lightweight earrings are printed with PLA filament. The pattern is of stacked blocks that have been cut to give a fun and inviting faceted pattern that works great for catching the light (with the silky filaments). Earrings are mirror images of each other. The earrings in the pictures are labeled, but they are shown in CopperGoldBlue, Blue Marble, SilverGold, Shiny Copper, and Stacked "Metal." They can be printed as one solid color or in up to 5 colors. The Stacked "Metals" is an example of that. Feel free to make a special request. The design of the earring works really well with the multi colored filaments (CopperGoldBlue and SilverGold) as well as any of the shiny filaments (Silk Copper, Antique Gold, Dark Rose Gold, Pink, and Shiny Silver) but can of course look good in any color (also shown in the matte color Blue Marble). The speckled filaments look nice here (Marble, Blue Marble, and Spark Black). (The color swatches are mostly to give you the idea of color, but doesn't reflect the finish well since the earrings are printed up not flat so you get nicer smooth sides.) Earrings hang down with stainless steel jump rings and earwires. I use 2 jump rings to help with them turning a bit to show off the colors and/or shininess of the filament. *CopperGoldBlue is a 3 colored filament, the way it comes out makes it so the three colors show up depending on how you are looking at the earrings and they also blend to make it look like a rainbow of colors! We use a very small layer height of 0.10mm for high detail. You can only slightly see the layers. We focus on making a high-quality product. The bottom surface may show some lines from the printing process. Also, in the center of the earring you can see a line where each layer starts, we design this to be in a corner for low visibility. We assemble and inspect each earring by hand to meet our criteria and if it does not, we reject it and make another one.
