Hi all! This is a small homage to Greenland. During my Iceland / Greenland trip I was amazed and stunned by the immense rough and barren nature of Greenland and the arctic world as a whole. So, I made a Greenland texture and as usual this is all 100% Substance Designer. Technically, I tried to see if my flow and erosion nodes hold up to create a roughly terrain in the Greenland style. The water ripples, snow and ice blocks all react to each other. The water doesn't have any transparency, it uses the same technique as my Biotope material. The ice pieces can be seen through the water. This is a simple shadow trick, on another angle it starts to look wrong. Obviously this can be corrected while processing the texture in game engines. I had a previous version of a much more closer look of a valley, but when I was jamming with erosion, it quickly became a more distant view and focused to continue work in that piece.
