This is a wonderful super wide necktie with a royal heraldic theme. The tie has shimmering golds with highlights of light blue. The tie has an asymmetrical blade, a common hold-over feature more prominent in the 1960s. This tie was a looker in its day and is due for a second act. Beautiful color tones highlight the elegant side of the 70s. Measurements: The tie measures 54 inches in length and 4 inches at the widest between the blade points. Condition: The tie is in wonderful vintage condition with no snags, rips or holes. The fabric is a soft polyester and acetate blend. nt551

Vintage tie/ retro tie/ vintage necktie/ retro necktie/ Midcentury tie/ St Michael’s tie/ kipper tie/ wide tie/ autumnal tie. A very cool St Michael’s vintage tie. I believe this tie to be from the late 1960’s, as the label states ‘made in Britain’ and the St Michael’s logo is within a slanted rectangle-typical of this era. In deep shades of gold/ caramel/ brown and black. It has a slight sheen and appears slightly different shades in different lights. It has a geometric design- iconic of the 60’s-but it has a timeless charm. Approximately 9.5cm at widest point. In good vintage condition- would make an excellent gift! RN# 16484 (Remington Apparel Co., Inc.) Sears 100% Polyester 1970's Not sure what to say about this one. 1970's, disco era tie. Not overly wide at 4". Slick, silky "Imported Polyester". This tie strikes me as Hawaiian or tropical, maybe it's the colors? Blue and Green print on White. 4" wide x 56" long. Lined. Tipped in White tafetta, both ends. Label acts as a tail keeper. Tail is 2 1/8" wide. Excellent condition. Blade tipping is just a bit discolored.

Vintage ties bundle-8 ties for men circa 1970s/1980s-7 ties made of silk- (Combined weight: 450g) FREE postage This listing is a vintage bundle of 8 different ties for men circa 1970s/1980s and are as follows: Fantasie DD and A.Picci Seta di Como - both are in excellent condition The Fantasie DD tie measures 10cm wide at the widest point and has an abstract pattern coloured in greyish green on black, and is made of 100% Silk The A.Picci tie is from Lake Como in Italy, is 10cm wide at the widest point and is made of 50% Silk and 50% Linen with an abstract grey and black pattern There are two handmade Italian ties from Satoriale and both are made of 100% Silk and measure 10cm (widest point) The red tie from Sartoriale has a floral pattern but is in poor condition with a stain in two different places There is also wear to the edges which is frayed and this can be seen in the pictures listed The label on the rear of the tie has come away in one place and needs to reattached The second Sartoriale tie is used but is in excellent condition with a red geometric pattern on a navy background There are also two ties from Austin Reed and Conran Collection Both ties are made of 100% Silk and are in excellent condition, measuring 10cm (widest point) The Austin Reed silk tie has a blue dot geometric pattern on a yellow background and the Conran Collection tie has white dots on a black and grey wavy pattern/design Finally there is a Harry & Sons vintage Italian silk cravat and a Macaseta Ltd Twinzine terylene club tie The Harry & Sons red cravat (Cravatte) is made of 100% Silk and is from Italy, and is in excellent condition measuring 10cm (widest point) The Macaseta Ltd Twinzine club tie is made of Terylene and is dark green coloured with a yellow motif pattern The tie is also vintage used and overall is in good condition measuring 8cm (widest point) All 8 ties will be sold together as one lot FREE POSTAGE WORLDWIDE
