For a while now I've wanted to work on a set of stylised assets with a more hand painted look using Substance Painter. Behold then...barrels! These were sculpted in ZBrush followed by the creation of a low poly mesh alongside UV's, which was then brought into Substance Painter for texturing. I found that achieving a stylised/ more hand painted look wasn't too difficult, but did require a lot of noise control on materials and pinching in those levels to get thicker/ bold strokes within the textures. Fig. 3. On the right: a simple example of a prism in tensegrity; struts are represented by thick lines, and cables by thin lines; struts exert compression forces (red arrows), and cable tension forces (blue arrows). These internal forces alone keep the structure in equilibrium, and balance out any external force. - "Position-based tensegrity design"
