"Eden Roc Pool" is a beautiful Limited Edition Premium Collection Estate Stamped Lambda print from 20th Century photographer Slim Aarons. The world of Aarons’s photographs, where wealthy people lounge poolside looking effortlessly beautiful, became an iconic look often mimicked in advertising. Renewed interest in his work led to two recent books and many admirers, particularly among fashion designers such as Paul Smith and Tom Ford. In a career that spanned six decades, Aarons visited many destinations like Beverly Hills, Capri and the French Riviera and photographed the Kennedy family, Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, and other elite jet-setters. Aarons worked without stylists or elaborate lighting, preferring to photograph celebrities in their own clothes and own surroundings.
Aaron Schuerr has many descriptions to his name: artist, writer, actor, husband, and father. And while all have a certain distinction to them, one of those connects him to other people on a much deeper level. Art is what Schuerr uses to translate the experiences of nature to other people. "Through painting is largely a solitary endeavor, it is never a lonely one because I am invited to share in the ineffable mystery of beauty," he explains.
