Beautifully drawn buildings, from the imagination of a very talented artist. Industrial designer and design educator Reid Schlegel, based in New York, created these lovely architectural concept drawings. He did this, to explore new ideas and see if there is a better way of doing things or, if there is a more comfortable / efficient way of making the best of materials, maximising and enjoying the views of the area around our buildings. I see and have seen, a lot of fantastic concepts that never get built or are utilised in any significant way and that is a real shame. With the closeness that the internet brings us, hopefully we are going to be able to harness more efficiently good ideas like these. Architectural Buildings Concepts Drawings Concept Building. Imagine a listing on Airbnb that read: "Holiday home amongst the clouds..." Choreographer and Photoshop artist Brandon 747. Amidst all of his pictures, I have picked a few that would describe with images, a wonderful house above the clouds. I think it would be an Interior Designer dream job to design a home like this. It starts off with and electrifying train ride, which stops just outside this amazing house. The weather here is always warm and there is no risk of falling. Privacy in all rooms is assured; man made flying machines included (birds and insects and any other winged creature not included). The home has three bedrooms with varying wall cover; the last one completely out in the open. Two bathrooms: one with exterior twin bathtubs. The second bathroom is a more traditional, only one wall removed. The house comes with a veranda style infinity pool and a more compact indoor one. There are two living rooms: one out doors (with an extra detailed photo of some of the design features on the opposite side). The second living room includes more surrounding structure, but you still get the feeling of being outside (next a photo of the other side of the room with a TV. With all of that scenery, I am not sure when you would feel the need to turn it on.) Every bedroom comes with a terrace and a hammock to relax; a hard earned break, from the heavy pampering this house has to offer, each and every day. Let the dreaming and fantasising commence... Ps. It’s looking very spring-like around here. The blooms are back and the bees are buzzing. I heard that we shouldn’t panic about the lack of rain just yet—more could come in March and April—but I really hope we Californians are all saving on water-use and thinking more long-term than that. This weekend is full of […]

One of the significant properties of this project is steep slope which led to height difference. The design inspired by the site topography and the employer's demand about dwelling and using two generations of a family (father and son). Also due to locating the site in the vicinity of a river, We had to consider river zone in our design.
