Made from natural grained wood, this can be used as a room divider, movable wall or privacy screen, giving any room a primitive charm. It is recycled from various sources, having unique shades of "weathering" to each slat, making no two dividers exactly alike. They can be used inside for decorative wall covers, to block hallways or petition rooms. Common uses out doors are to block the view of central air units, on patios for privacy, or for primitive décor in your landscaping. The wood is untreated and will weather to a grayish patina, looking like barn wood, if used outdoors. ( Polyurethane, paint or other protective covers are recommended for outdoor use, although we do not provide these options). I have sold many of these to other creators to use in their shops, or to use at trade shows to showcase their wares. (See photos above) If you need a custom one made for this use, please feel free to contact me. As seen in the photos, the horizontal slats are spaced about ¼ to ½ inch apart, allowing light through, yet still giving privacy. If you need the slats to actually touch to give the maximum privacy, that option is available. Just notate it when ordering. They are built using prime quality wood for the frame, and constructed with screws, as opposed to brad nails. A lot of dividers on the market use brad nails, which are more commonly used in this type of furnishings and have a tendency to loosen over time. Similar wall panels in various country style magazines often sell for $350 - $600. These are made to order and takes several days to construct. That's why I have a 2–3-week turnaround. Dimensions: Height - 5’ 10”, Width – 18” Per Panel – Total width - 72” laid flat. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about custom orders. Flat rate shipping is for within the Continental Unites States. For orders to Hawaii or Alaska, or outside the United States, please contact me for shipping prices prior to ordering.
Early vintage roadside farm vegetable stand sign, circa 1940s, rustic home-made sign made of scrap pine boards, hand painted to advertise their produce. We often see strawberries and plants for sale, even the occasional asparagus... but goldfish? GOLDFISH??? What a hoot! This has to be the only antique farm sign for goldfish ever. What an absolute Classic. The farmer obviously used whatever scraps he had on hand, so the boards vary in size and color, and all show their age from weather and banging around the barn. The hook-eyes are a recent replacement. If I were keeping them I would get rid of the hooks altogether and hang each individually in sequence on the wall. Comparable signs typically sell individually for $500 and more apiece. Measures: Overall: 24-1/2 in high x 26 in width x 1 in deep.
