Since I've posted elsewhere about this (in addition to the breakdown from the other day you might have seen) I figured I'd show it here too. This one isn't quite 2 years in the making like my red version, but I've been co-developing them, so to speak. I wanted to do a T1 with patina but wasn't sure how to go about the coloring. 11 months ago I approached Simon Liu about it and he gave me some fantastic advice after learning about patina. This turned into a small "patina collaboration" of sorts, in which my final layout is still a little far away. You can see a bit of Simon's build in his Red Rocket, actually! flic.kr/p/2m1uaao As a quick note, this build is sort of a weird dedication to the building style of Karwik, with a bit of Adam Grabowski thrown in for good measure. They were huge influences for me even before I moved over here from MOCpages over 9 years ago. Believe it or not, there's still much to do on the van alone, not including the rest of the build too. This is close to the final shape, though the front could use some downward sloping. Anyway, enough rambling. I hope you guys like it so far, and thanks for stopping by!
