I am thrilled to present my Alice In Wonderland Theater. It is made entirely from John Tenniel illustrations, who illustrated the Lewis Carrol books. There is one exception... I did use scans of the book spines too. The columns are taken from an illustration in "Through The Looking Glass". I overlaid the column over the book spines from the image where Alice and the frog stand before the door that says "Queen Alice". The rest of the theater is from various images from both books. In the making of the puppets, I tried to stay true to the artist but did make some necessary line changes by combining two or more original images. I have left the puppets in a larger format in case you wanted to use them as paper dolls so they are not to scale for the theater. So if you are making a theater on a standard 81/2 x 11 sheet you may want to size them down some. I made my example theater in the larger size by having it printed on an 11 x 14 sheet at the printers. For that size the puppets are the right size as they are. I am also including a sheet of Antique paper dolls from a Victorian "Ladies Home Journal" for even more fun! The preview above is a low resolution and the watermark is not visible on the original file that you will receive. Your digital collage sheet will be available as an instant download upon receipt of your payment and will include the free digital bonuses that I am known for :) Once saved to your computer you can resize the images to fit your project and use it over and over! Your 8 1/2 x 11 collage sheet will be in .jpg format at 300 dpi for the highest quality printing. However the quality of your print will be determined by your printer but a few good tips are to use either a good quality bright white paper or brochure paper. The copyright you are purchasing is for hand made items only... So if you are printing the image and incorporating it into your artwork then that artwork is yours to sell. However the copyright does not apply to any mass produced printed products or digital reproductions and may not be included in any digital download of any kind. They my not be shared with friends or sold to a third party. I have spent many hours scanning and creating or digitally enhancing each one as I leave them in your charge please protect them. Sheet are as shown. Not all images seen in examples are in this listing. For more ideas and free downloads visit my blog http://alteredartifacts.blogspot.com There are more example pictures of my example theater on my blog http://alteredartifacts.blogspot.com/ I have also posted the graphic for little table you see on top there as a freebie. I also offer a free tutorial on the making of wonderland there.

Free Shipping! Includes All Mounting Hardware! Description: The artwork depicts a dark and enigmatic rendition of Alice from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland." In this interpretation, Alice is depicted with a mysterious and brooding aura. Her typically bright and innocent appearance is transformed into a more complex and introspective portrayal. Clad in a deep blue dress with intricate patterns, she exudes an air of curiosity and defiance. Her eyes, usually filled with wonder, now hold a hint of melancholy and a touch of mischief. The surrounding environment reflects the darker atmosphere, with twisted vines, looming shadows, and hints of the fantastical wonderland lurking beyond. The overall effect is a captivating and thought-provoking depiction that challenges the conventional interpretation of Alice. The painting invites the viewer to delve deeper into the complexities of the beloved character and to explore the hidden depths of wonderland itself.
I love to create things. Though I'm probably best at making messes, I love to make art- whichever way it comes out. I'm not one of those people who usually sees what I'm making before I sit down to make it though. That means that nine times out of ten, I completely surprise myself. That was definitely the case with this latest design. Laura was so sweet to send over these gorgeous ranunculus she painted. Every time she sends me new beautiful pieces of watercolor loveliness, it feels like Christmas! Within seconds, I had the files open and was kafloofling about with things. After a minute or two, there was a whale involved...and she was in desperate need of a bit of fancying up. Some would suppose whales don't care about trivial things like "fanciness", but you should know that this one (I named her Winifred) most certainly does. I'm pretty sure this random bit of delightful silliness came from the incessant rain we've had here in Michigan and the fact that I've been holding my breath waiting for my own little flowers to finally burst open. But, wherever my dear old girl Winifred came from, she is now headed straight for your blog...so be good to her! :) Ooh, and don't forget that if you live in Utah, you can meet the super sweet and deliciously talented Laura Davies at the Beehive Bazaar in May!!! XOXO- Megan

5 images at a special price! 5 Vintage Alice in Wonderland Art Prints by Arthur Rackham Instant Digital Download Arthur Rackham was one of the foremost illustrators during the "Golden Age" of illustration, which lasted from the 1880s until shortly after World War I (although the active career of several later "golden age" illustrators went on for another few decades). Improvements in printing technology freed illustrators to experiment with color and new rendering techniques. The imagery they created was a portrait of American aspirations of the time These high resolution images are available to you as an instant download as soon as your payment is processed. Great for altered art projects, postcards, scrapbooking, gift tags, mixed media, ATC's, Perfect to be used for earrings, decoupage on tiles, as pendants or for any art project.
