AppleCheeks swim diapers are made with the same elastic lengths as the regular covers. Since they don't require an insert and don't have a pocket, they fit larger. Most babies will wear a size 1 swim for awhile. My LO was 20 pounds last year and in a size 1. Even now at 30 pounds they still would work.
