It’s a great little essentials bag for around town, a fun gift for butterfly-loving friends, or a blank canvas for kids to decorate. This sewing pattern is for confident beginners or intermediate sewers. Skills required include working with linings, curved seams, inserting an invisible zipper, top stitching, and concealing seams. The bag requires the following materials: Outer fabric: 0.4m (0.5 yrd) of 112cm (44 in) wide fabric. Lining: 0.4m (0.5 yrd) of 112cm (44 in) wide fabric. Interfacing: 0.4m (0.5 yrd) of 112cm (44 in) wide fabric. 18cm (7 in) invisible zipper 35cm (14 in) 25mm (1in) bias binding (or make your own using the pattern piece) The finished cocoon measures 28cm (11in) tall by 12cm (4.7in) wide. This pattern comes with PDF format A4 and projector print files, and includes detailed instructions. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch. Thank you :)
