01.07.2019. Amiens- the capital of Picardy- is one of the exceptional towns that exist in North of France. It counts more than 100 000 people and offers incredible promenades along the river Somme full of flower canals. At these wonderful canals you can also take a boat ride. During my visit to Paris in April, Amiens is a wonderful French town where floating gardens take the rule, but there's much more to discover. It's an awesome day trip from Paris
