Embrace the serene elegance of the Scottish coast with this exquisite Art Nouveau inspired print. A harmonious palette of pastel hues bathes the quaint Portree Harbour in an ethereal glow, where the silhouetted Cuillin mountains loom softly in the backdrop, shrouded in gentle mists of purple and blue. The composition exudes a symphony of flowing lines and organic forms characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement, emphasising the fluidity and grace of the natural world. Crafting a dreamlike atmosphere, this piece features a mesmerising reflection of the harbour's lifeblood—its charming boats—with their masts and hulls mirrored perfectly in the calm, glassy waters. Traditional stone houses, rendered in uplifting shades, line the waterfront, their facades whispering tales of this Northern Scottish isle's storied past. Vividly coloured yet soothing to gaze upon, each building seems to possess its own distinct personality, standing proudly under the calm skies. Offered as part of the 'Scottish Harbours' collection, this print encapsulates the tranquil beauty that is the Isle of Skye's Portree Harbour—a jewel in the crown of Scotland. Let this piece transport you to the gentle embrace of Skye, where the dance of water and light is captured in an artwork that sings of peace and unparalleled natural beauty.

What if an illusionist had powers bigger than pulling a rabbit out of a cylinder? Would he use clouds as platform for building the cities, turn the landscape upside down, put a man in a birds nest and appoint the birds with some human activities? I am a 37 years old Lithuanian artist and I want to give a sneak peak view on this before it happens.

As the golden hues of sunset kiss the sea, this exquisite print captures the serene beauty of Ardulanish Bay with an Art Nouveau twist. The piece is a riot of colour, where the warm oranges and pinks of the evening sky blend seamlessly with the tranquil blues and purples of the Scottish waters. Embellished with graceful, flowing lines characteristic of the Art Nouveau style, the tableau oozes an organic essence, as if nature itself has been stylised into a dance of curves and waves. The sun, a radiant orb, dips towards the horizon, its light reflecting off the gently rippling water, leading the eye through a mesmerising path across the bay. Silhouetted rock formations rise majestically, framing the scene with their powerful, yet elegant outlines. The delicate interplay of light and shadow infuses the print with a sense of depth and harmony. In the foreground, the intricate detailing of the rocks and pools showcases the signature elegance and decorative quality of the Art Nouveau movement. Each brushstroke is intentional, contributing to the overall ornamental feel of the piece while paying homage to the natural world's sublime beauty. The allure of this print lies in its ability to transport you to the tranquil shores of one of Scotland's most picturesque coves, inviting a sense of peace and reflection into any space it graces. Whether adorning a home or office, this print is sure to captivate and charm lovers of both the Scottish coastline and the timeless Art Nouveau style.

Hi! My name is Miles Johnston. I got into practicing drawing seriously around 11 years ago when I was 13. I was a frequent poster on a forum that was pretty popular back in the day called Conceptart.org, with dreams of working in the film and games industry. As time went on I fell more and more in love with drawing as an end itself. Now I am trying to move into the fine art world, by growing my presence online on Instagram and Reddit. This year I have been pretty fortunate and just booked my first solo show next year at a gallery called Last Rites in New York.
About The Artwork Rosenblatt's Mural for First Christ Church is a depiction of a world within a world, of a planet, suspended in the sky. The smaller planet relates to and nourishes the larger planet, by sending it water. The smaller planet, with its winter scene of pine trees and snow-covered mountains, suggests that the flowing water is melting snow in springtime, providing sustenance to spring vegetation. Here again is the spirit of regeneration, an appropriate theme for a church mural and for a budding artist striving to establish his identity. He says about this artwork: "The rushing waters are baptismal waters flowing from heaven to earth. The globe is a spiritual symbol for heaven. Faith is the sky while the pool at the bottom is reality. This is a planet where we all can live." Details As a new day dawns on the orange horizon, every subject of the Earth awakens to a heavenly glow. The line between realism and fantasy stimulates the human imagination just as dreaming of a world flourishing with peace. Ida Ratna Ningrum conceptualizes the beginning of a new era of peace in this enchanting painting as she depicts an idyllic view into a blooming world of nature. The artist explains that the young girl sits protected under a tree in a thriving green field of harmonious flowers, far from the clutches of monolithic urban society. Finding hope in nature, the young girl embraces a dim globe to bring rejuvenation and a return to innocence, symbolizing the human concept of harmony. Circling above, a flock of doves foreshadows the cleansing of the world's conscience, themselves being symbols of purity and modesty since ancient times. As humanity is both destined and doomed to a cyclical existence, the arrival of ancient symbols signals great changes to come. "My definition of world peace is the desire of every human being, all who decide and choose to be at peace in their own way. If humans realize we can all choose to make peace by asking God to give us a heart that is peaceful and calm, then there will be no war. My hope for world peace is that all human beings can individually create something good and respect each other, and then peace will be established," the artist confides. 0.50 kgs 1.1 lbs 70 cm W x 90 cm H 27.5" W x 35" H Metric US/Imperial Acrylic on canvas Arrives unframed Unstretched Signed by the artist Made in Indonesia.
