"The Fool ~ (Tarot Card 0)" A giclée print on canvas of the original painting by Emily Balivet. A giclée print on matte wrapped canvas with a protective coating, the print measures 8x10 inches and is stretched on a .75" pine frame. The print is signed, titled and dated on the back and ships flat. The Fool is the first card (the wild card) of the Major Arcana in the Tarot. It portrays a wild, optimistic youth setting about his journey. He is innocent and has an eagerness and freshness about him. He wears horns on his head and skins symbolizing his animalistic, instinctual drives. His outlook is free of preconceptions. The white dog warns him that he is about to step over the cliff, but the Fool trusts in life and maintains an absence of fear. He represents the curious and exuberant childish aspect in all of us. ~All prints are packaged professionally and shipped via Priority mail (within the US) ~Overseas shipping via USPS First Class International ~Shipping discounts on multiple purchases A selection of print sizes and variations of "The Fool" are available here in my shop... Nebuchadnezzar is a colour monotype print with additions in ink and watercolour portraying the Old Testament Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II by the English poet, painter, and printmaker William Blake. Taken from the Book of Daniel, the legend of Nebuchadnezzar tells of a ruler who through hubris lost his mind and was reduced to animalistic madness[1] and eating "grass as oxen".[2]
