2020 Arasaka tower interior from the quest Never Fade Away. The idea for this location is that it was a section of the Arasaka tower that had been mothballed and was, therefore, an ideal place to do certain secret things. To represent the past Arasaka tower I used assets from our entropy era but re-textured them with a darker pallet more reflective of the militarism corpo style. To help further set it apart I chose a set of Servers to model specifically for this location and some dust covers for computer desks to help enhance the neglected feeling of the space. With this location in mind, I also created a pipe set at a larger scale than our other sets. These pipes were then used extensively throughout the rest of the locations of the game by my colleagues. Towards the end of the project, I worked very closely with gameplay design to enhance the combat in this location. I added some alternate routes and worked on the cover. I took care of this location from the art draft through to the final polish.
