How many different objects can you find in this artwork? The story of Junkalina is how an unwanted pile of objects can be transformed into something beautiful and fascinating. Just as the phoenix rose from ashes, Junkalina emerges from the discarded items at the Tip Shop! As artists we have always seen the aesthetic potential in everyday items, to be recreated and re-purposed. Junkalina is our way of trying to promote this thought of sustainability and recycling to all that see her.
Sure, a blurry portrait of a fake nobleman just sold for a lot of money. But there's a lot more going on in the world of art and AI.

‘Forbidden Fruit,’ by doll artist Mari Shimizu. Fantasy doll maker Mari Shimizu hails from Amakusa, Kumamoto Japan where after graduating from Tama Art University, she dedicated herself to creating and photographing her intricate ball-joint dolls. Shimizu is deeply inspired by the Surrealist movement, especially Nazi-hating Dadaist, photographer Hans Bellmer whose scandalous work often incorporated dolls. Here are a few words from Bellmer on his artistic approach that appear to directly align to Shimizu’s ethos: The body resembles a sentence that seems to invite us to dismantle it into its component letters, so that its true meaning may be revealed ever anew through an endless stream of anagrams. Shimizu carves openings in her dead-eyed dolls in order to provide the viewer insight into the inner-workings of her inanimate creations. Themes that run through her work include mythology, religion, death and nature in which rabbits are common themes. Rabbits are symbolic for a myriad of reasons and perhaps as it pertains to Shimizu’s work is how the rabbit is regarded as an “Earth” symbol—as it is the earthly aspect of its existence that allows the animal to retain its composure in the midst of chaos. Rabbits are also...

The part I am loving most about Sarah taking on the role of craft group coordinator is her fresh energy and ideas. She saw a little doll like these and then set out to find someone willing to come along and show the rest of us how to make one. These swaddle dolls, like their makers, each have their own personality ~ some are sleeping, others are wide awake, some are snuggled tightly, others prefer looser wraps, some tiny, others buxom. I love them all. They are very simple really and quite a few of us completed our dolls in the three hours set aside for crafting before the younger children finished their half school day. A few still had pins in them - neat stiches will replace them soon enough.
Limited Edition Enchanted Doll. Photo is from a while ago, but never made it to flickr for some reason (at least when I checked last).

Please use the instruction for your personal use or on your dolls for sale if you are giving tutorials based on my technique please be so kind and give credit when credit is due.that is the right way of sharing knowledge. Starting today I will teach you how to make a wefted Mohair wig . I want to make sure that you will be making the best wig ever. And for that you need brushed Mohair or yarn of your choice I just like brushed mohair and weft of your choice . And this is how you make a nice and tight wig . And you probably wonder how can I do that well is the size crochet hook I use the smallest I can possibly crochet with it is a little bit harder but the end result is amazing you will not have any gaps and it will appear more natural so get yourself a small crochet hook and then lets start . I c Here you can see how small my hook is but trust me it is worth it it is hart to see but I first crochet into the weft about 4 and then I fold it over to crochet in the round crochet two single stitches in one opening to MAINTAIN a flat surface just remember crochet two single crochet in one whole till it measures 4 inches ,or what ever size you need Just keep going in the round Depending on the circumference of your dolls head Measure the flat part, mine measures 4 inches That's for a 13 inch circumference on my doll and then I start to single crochet because you only crochet one in each hole you're not adding stitches anymore and it should start forming a cap
