Morwenna grew up in a vibrant community on a farm in Scotland. Attracted by the glamour of fashion, Morwenna aspired to become a fashion designer from the age of 10. She completed a foundation course at the Leith School of Art, followed by a degree in Fashion from Edinburgh College of Art, where she gained a First Class Honors. Awarded the Laura Ashley scholarship and supported by the Dewar Art Awards, Morwenna continued to the Royal College of Art, London, where she completed a masters in fashion Womenswear in June 2015.
