Hi! My name is Daniela and I'm an embroidery artist from Chile. My work goes from anime and music to pets and memes. I also like to mix embroidery thread with paint.
Sunset on the Pacific Ocean. Doesn't get much better than that. I love the thick application of the oil paint on this 6"x12" original oil (see the two close-up images for a better look). I've created a number of paintings using this same theme as you often need to put in the work that comes with repetition. Of course, each version has its own unique color and paint handling characteristics. Many years of studying waveforms go into each of these studies. This little gem could be the perfect start to your art collection! Now available as a Limited Edition Fine Art Giclée Print at 7" x 14"! 50 total signed and numbered. The high-resolution digital image of this piece shows incredible detail. Or, click on this link for the Original Oil painting! I decided to create a challenge where I asked our community to share the best artwork they've done. It could be anything painted, drawn, etc. on paper.
You’ll have a whole new appreciation for art . . . honestly.
About The Artwork Limited edition of 9 units, all hand painted, acrylic on canvas. Series created in 2019, winner of Fabrik’s Carbon and Dayligheted awards. It is a rupture with a hegemonic model of a skin pattern, where there is a transfiguration of an aesthetic limit to a freedom to create territories in oneself that break with the limited skin, the skin I feel is what comes from inside. Tearing the limits of oneself to patch oneself up again. If the skin that I feel is a limit, I must create exit mechanisms from myself to externalize what is inside my skin. With plans to “deep dive” into a novel about his experiences and reasons for making art, this American artist tells us why he'd like to expand his practice into more spiritual and symbolic realms.

I started with abstract art around six months ago, and I'm completely addicted. This way of creating is totally freeing, and allows me to express my emotions in a completely unconfined way. It really lets my creativity loose. Through different digital techniques I create images that focus on colors and emotions, and they are pretty much open for others to interpret whatever way they want. They might feel joy or sorrow, see outer space or the sunrise. Each to their own.

Illustrator and graphic designer Simon Prades (previously here and here) creates illusion and intrigue through old school methods of illustration, choosing to loyally stick to pen and ink as his go-to medium. Despite choosing to clean up and sometimes color his work digitally, Prades’ physical mark making remains apparent, such as in the realistic details provided in his subjects’ faces. The German illustrator tends to focus on select colors when creating work for clients such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and The Atlantic, staying within a palette of bright greens and yellows, and muted blues. When you're an artist, everything is a medium. Even the sky. Lân Nguyen, who is known online as 19.XCV (which stands for 1995), has been transforming photos of the sky into everyday objects and scenes using digital silhouettes, and judging by the images, his imagination is certainly that of a creator.

Street art is there to surprise and inspire us, to shake up the often dull urban environments in which it can usually be found in order to give us a fresh perspective on our otherwise familiar neighborhoods and streets. But sometimes street art goes one step further than that by not only altering the world around it, but actually interacting with it. Check out the pictures below to see what we mean. Compiled by Bored Panda, the list contains some of the cleverest and most eye-catching examples of what happens when street art meets nature. Don't forget to vote for your favorite!
