I worked on these two paintings this week. I think I am done with them but will let them sit and then take a look at them to see if anything jumps out at me that may need tweaking. I believe I will name this first one That Blooming Cat. I haven't come up with a name for the next one yet. If you have any ideas, please leave a comment. I also finished all the free motion quilting this week on this quilt. Next up for that is the painting.
When creating a digital painting of many colourful houses, I draw inspiration from the vibrant, picturesque houses that I have encountered on my travels. I pay close attention to the colours and textures of each building, capturing the unique character of each one. One of the great advantages of digital painting is the ability to play with perspective and composition in ways that may be more difficult with traditional mediums. I am able to experiment with different angles and viewpoints, creating a sense of depth and dimensionality that brings the painting to life. Overall, the inspiration behind a watercolour digital painting of many colourful houses is rooted in my desire to create a unique, lively, and vibrant artwork that captures the beauty of urban scenery and architecture in a way that is both traditional and innovative. This print is made using state of the art printing technology, water-based HP inks for sharp photographic reproduction and colour fidelity using UL certified GREENGUARD GOLD archival inks on 310gsm fine art paper.
