In this course I will share my process of gathering inspiration, how I organize what I find beautiful, a printable mini workbook so you can document what you find beautiful through your five senses, the order in which I put inspiration boards together and how I use each one to guide intentions, our business and future creative work. Together we will create an intentions board, future online course board and a board to inspire a new art series. Whether you are an artist or not this course is for anyone that wants to use beauty, intention and visuals to stay intentional and focused in life and work.
These beautiful art discussion signs are perfect for your next art history lesson OR classroom art critique. These questions are mostly the same as the ones in the Art Discussion Cards pdf (with a few extras), BUT they are each on an individual 8.5" x 11" sized sign. See the Art Discussion Cards here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Art-Discussion-Cards-826422 I created these so that I could place them on a bulletin board along with some famous artworks. As students look at the bulletin board, they will be prompted with things to think about. Questions such as "What sounds would you hear if you were in this picture?" and "What do you think the artist was trying to say?" will have students analyzing, wondering and discussing artwork. They are also perfect to use for writing activities. (Artwork not included! Choose your own to adapt for any lesson.) This packet contains 37 pages: pages 1-4 = Title Cards for your bulletin board in different fonts pages 5-37 = Discussion Questions for the bulletin board. There are 33 Discussion Prompt signs so they can be changed out or used on multiple bulletin boards at the same time. I recommend laminating these for longevity. You may share these with other teachers in your district, but do not resell or post these online. ** UPDATE: If you teach in a country that uses the spelling "colour", I have created a version for you. Just email me after purchasing and I will send you signs with your proper spelling. ([email protected]) ***

One of the things which helps me in the studio is a ‘mood board’ for my art. It’s good to refresh this and I had become so used to looking at it, that my eyes passed over it and it was no longer serving its purpose. So what’s a mood board? You’re probably familiar […]
