Description The UNS Oriskany is a conventional Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier, refitted with upgraded power-plants and other advancements from early attempts at reverse engineering the Solinoid technologies. Numerous ships like this were either new-built, or refitted during Yard Service periods, during the Global Civil War to enhance the Fleet fighting forces in the feild for the UN Military. The Oriskany II and others of her breed served along-side the space-capable UNS Coral Sea and the UNS Royal Oak to form the back-bone of the Global UN Fleet prior to the arrival of the Solinoids!
