Baba Yaga's House. Have you heard of Baba Yaga? She's a witch from Slavic folklore, and she lives in a spinning hut in the woods that sits atop chicken legs. This listing is for one handmade print, featuring my take on Baba Yaga's house. It has been printed on terracotta colored cotton rag paper with black relief ink. The background features ochre-colored sunbursts that have been individually hand stamped. Each print measures approximately 4"x6" and features deckle edges. 7.5" sculpture of Baba Yaga's chicken legged hut. Baba Yaga is a witch from Russian and Slavic folklore, and her house here is inspired by rustic architecture of Eastern Europe and fairy tales.
This 10" x 4" x 3" (7" wide at the feet stance) altered birdhouse sculpture is the fabled chicken-legged house of the witch, Baba Yaga, from Slavic folklore. It's OOAK, no one else you know will ever own one of these. The witch and her house will keep watch over you. The birdhouse base was sculpted over with sculpting epoxy, and the legs are constructed of wire, polymer clay, and sculpting epoxy. The witch is drawn and painted on bristol board. Lots of painting details were added, as well as moss and an eye. This can stand or hang from a ceiling hook.
