Today I decided I wanted to create a simple card that featured two colors that are perfect together, gold and black. I thought the Bamboo Beauty stamp set was the perfect set to showcase these stunning colors. Here is what I came up with… I think this card is simply elegant. This is an excellent example of how less is more. The Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder really makes the stamp set pop. Oh, and the little symbol on the side represents “friendship”. So, let’s get started shall we. The card base is Basic Black cardstock that is cut 5 ½ x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”. I then cut a second piece of Basic Black cardstock to 2 ¼ x 5”. I stamped this piece with the bamboo from the stamp set and the friendship symbol using Versamark ink and then added Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. Once that was done, I cut a piece of Gold Foil to mount it on that measured 2 ½ x 5 ¼”. I added the two layers to the base using Dimensionals. Three little Gilded Gems finish off the front of the card. For the inside I stamped the sentiment “The Bamboo that bends is Stronger than the Oak that Breaks” which is a Japanese Proverb and one of the little bamboo branches onto a piece of Basic White cardstock that measured 4 x 5 ¼” using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I also added another of the bamboo branches onto the envelope. This was a fast and simple card that really stands out. I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it. I wanted to create an easel card today and this Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper and the Bamboo Beauty stamp set seemed to be the perfect choice for that. I just love the look of the blackberry bliss colors and the gold. Here is the easel card I came up with… Here is what it looks like stood up as an easel card. The card base is created from pieces of Blackberry Bliss cardstock that is cut to 4 ¼ x 5 ½”, one that is 3 x 6 ¼” scored at 2 ¾” and 5 ½” and a piece that measures 2 ¾ x 5 ¼” (this one is a simple backer for the Designer Series Paper to make it stronger so it stands up). Attach the 3 x 6 ¼” piece to the top of the card base using the score mark at the 5 ½” mark (just adhere the little piece that measures ¾ x 3” onto the base). This is the base for the card. Now add a piece of the Designer Series Paper that measures 2 ¾ x 5 ¼” to a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock that also measures 2 ¾ x 5 ¼” (this makes it strong enough to stand up on the easel). This piece is then adhered to the center piece of the base (adhere only the bottom half to the easel as shown below). To finish the front of the card cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 2 ¼ x 5” and stamp it with the Bamboo Beauty stamps shown using Versamark ink and add Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. The cute little symbol is “friendship”. Add this to the center of your Designer Series Paper on the front of the card. Now to complete the inside of the card and create our easel. Add a piece of Basic White cardstock that measures 4 x 5 ¼” (this will cover where we added the front piece of Blackberry Bliss). Cut a scrap of Blackberry Bliss using one of the Rectangle Stitched Dies. Now stamp the sentiment (this one is also from the Bamboo Beauty stamp set) onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Blackberry Bliss ink and die cut it using another of the Rectangle Stitched Dies. Adhere these pieces together and add to the center towards the bottom of the inside of your card using Dimensionals (this becomes the stand for the front of the card and makes it an easel). I hope you enjoy this card I just love creating these fun fold cards. Liefs Yvon💙...

Two Sheets, 12” x 12” Introducing the two-sheet Veranda Stamp, this beautifully curated set blends classic lattice designs with delicate floral elements. Josie was especially fond of this set, designing it with two scales to seamlessly transition from embellishing large furniture pieces to enhancing smaller crafts. This collection features bamboo lattice patterns, offering a rich tapestry of textures and aesthetics that effortlessly blend with various styles, adding a touch of sophistication. The lattice, in particular, is highly versatile; perfect for adding to journals, as a distinctive art piece, or as an elegant frame. This would work beautifully with many of our floral transfers. Consider the addition of our Faux Bois Mould on furniture borders to introduce an extra layer of design, infusing projects with a natural, wood-like texture. Designed with traditional English, classic, and cottage interior styles in mind, Veranda's true charm is unlocked through stamp masking. These masks allow florals and frames to be nestled within the lattice designs. With the introduction of our newly printed stamp masks, achieving this intricate layering is simpler than ever.

Dimensions in inches: 13x15.4" Original painting of orchids, made with Japanese ink on beige Chinese rice paper. Orchids are a very popular subject in Japanese art, they symbolise purity and elegance, as well as wealth and power. The painting is signed with my personal stamp. It is dry-mounted on thickened rice paper and ready for framing or mounting on a scroll. Please use acid-free adhesives when framing. The painting is manually cut, please leave a few mm error margin for dimensions. Note that colours may differ due to differences in devices. Please note that small creases may form due to the nature of the paper. This orchid painting can also be bought together with bamboo artwork, as a set. The set is featured in my shop at https://yasamt.etsy.com
