These will make a great center piece for your table or home bar. They are made from bourbon barrel staves, and hold 3 inch pillar candles. I include 1 candle with each candle holder. They come in 3 different sizes Short is 6½ inch tall Medium is 9½ inch tall Tall is 12½ inches tall I clean and sand all the parts to clean them up and make the look their best. They I finish each one so it will look good for years. These are made from used barrel parts there may be cracks, checks and other defects in the wood. This is from the years of being used in the distillery to make bourbon. This handcrafted Re-Purposed Wine Barrel Stave Wall Clock was made in my shop from wine barrel staves. The wine barrels were made in France and the wine they held was grown and produced in the Napa Valley. I sand each stave just enough to make them smooth to the touch, without losing any of the character or imperfections it has gained during its years in use. The metal bands are cut from the actual barrel bands that held the staves in place. They have been cut to size and the edges have been ground smooth. This pieces will add warmth and beauty to any room in the house, business, or office. Re-purposed items come with many inclusions, imperfections, flaws and such. I do not sand or grind these areas completely away,that's what gives each piece its own character. No two pieces are the same. This unique gift made from two of our best wine barrel staves includes five deluxe tea light candles in glass holders. This version is concave, with the ends gracefully sweeping upwards and standing on a reversed shorter barrel stave. This item is similar to our fancy 5-light candle but includes deluxe glass tea light holders that stand proud of the barrel stave and is made from our widest barrel staves. This version of our 5-light barrel stave candle projects the most light of all. Use as a stand-alone candle decoration on a side table or as a centerpiece candle for your dinning table. I have preserved the character of the wood. With a graceful upward curve, the top of the candle is coloured a deep purple from the red wine that the barrel held for years, and the bottom shows the greyish age of the outside of the barrel with white bands created by the metal barrel straps. The wood is hand finished with durable and beautiful glossy tung oil. Each item is unique in its exact measurements and colours. Widths are 4 inches or more depending on the barrel maker. Inside colour varies with the type of wine, the age of the barrel and where that particular stave was located as the barrel was stored on its side.
