This image has been taken from a Bengali book of children's poems written by the famous Sukumar Ray, and illustrated by Bimal Das. The images are very interesting mainly because such images have been around for ages, since about 20 years ago. I find the images very reflective of the Bengali culture. (Kolkata) Unfortunately, not a lot of info is available on Bimal Das, whose particular style of imagery is very eye-catching and has a lot of details.
