Made from 3 full whisky barrel staves which have been jointed then sanded and finished either in a polyurethane varnish or oiled. 4 inch cast iron handles are attached at each end. Ideal for a rustic kitchen. Perfect as a table centrepiece, a fruit platter or for serving snacks or canapés. 35 inches long and approx 8 inches wide in the middle tapering to 7 inches at the ends. Our oak is sourced from reclaimed whiskey barrel staves from the old Bushmills Distillery in Ireland. The distillery is located in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the beautiful Causeway Coast. Nearby is the famous Giants Causeway and along the Antrim Coast Road can be found the Carrickarede rope bridge, Royal Portrush Golf Club which is a British Open venue and Ballintoy and the Dark Hedges which have both appeared in Game of Thrones. The Irish whiskey brand was officially given a registered trademark in 1784, yet its origins date back to 1608 when King James I granted Sir Thomas Phillips – landowner and Governor of County Antrim – a license to distil. The distillery therefore claims to be the oldest licensed distillery currently in existence and has the date 1608 printed on its bottles. Made from reclaimed oak whiskey barrel staves from the old Bushmills Distillery in Ireland. The safety razor takes standard razor blades. Much cheaper than standard blades and also because you are only changing the blade more eco friendly too. Just place the blade in metal recycling, no plastic to dispose of.

Spurtle hand turned from oak whisky barrel 8 or 10 inches in length. The spurtle is a wooden Scottish kitchen tool, dating from the fifteenth century, that is used to stir porridge, soups, stews and broths. The rod-like shape means that porridge can be stirred without congealing and forming lumps, unlike a spoon that would have a dragging effect during stirring, and the low surface area reduces the chances of porridge sticking to the instrument. The custom is that a spurtle should be used to stir in a clockwise direction with the right hand. These can also be made in beech. Löwenbräu was ahead of most other German beers in export markets, particularly the U.S. These beer mats are so early that they are hard for me to locate. This is a beer mat for the export market. It has the U.S. importer's name and address. The address does not have the five-digit Zip code (postal code), which was introduced in July 1963. My best guess is Schroeder's Cafe, a German restaurant in San Francisco. I had dinner there at least once while I was a graduate student at the University of California (Berkeley).
