I have an anniversary card to share today that was made with Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilla cardstock, along with some green for the stems. The bouquet was made with a SU! Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and a coordinating die set called the Beautiful Bunch Framelits. I have not been able to put this set down since I got my hands on it. The little bow is also a die from the set, and the sentiment is from the stamp collection. I placed everything on a stitched postage rectangle die and called this one done! I'm entering this over at the DiesRUs challenge #80, which is to use die-cut handmade flowers. Thanks for stopping by and may your day be filled with joy! Carol

Majestic Lilies, a timeless symbol of rebirth, are paired with stately Lupines celebrating optimism that leads to the discovery of new opportunities, forming a stunning mixed bouquet. This thoughtful gift bestows warm wishes and encouragement for the future - sentiments that are as enduring as the bouquet itself.
Even though I make a lot of cards and always have a box of grab-and-go cards ready to choose from, I always like to make special cards, designed with a special person in mind. I made this card for my Mum's birthday (you can't get a more special person than that, right?). I actually made this card at Stamp Camp, and I didn't have all my coloured cardstock with me, so can you believe that this card has been made using only white cardstock? I die-cut all the flowers and stems in white cardstock, and then used sponges and ink to colour them. I love the soft, variegated effect it gives. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention! The ombre ribbon was the perfect match for these flowers! I liked it so much, I had to make a blue version: I used embossing paste and brick stencil for my background. It was so quick, and I love the texture that it adds. Hopefully Mum liked her card :) Email me to place your order, or click HERE to Shop Now Product List Beautiful Bouquet Photopolymer Stamp Set [143666] $47.00 Beautiful Bouquet Photopolymer Bundle [145297] $87.25 Embossing Paste [141979] $11.50 Pattern Party Decorative Masks [144103] $10.00 Calypso Coral 1/4" Ombre Ribbon [144235] $12.25 Island Indigo 1/4" Ombre Ribbon [144233] $12.25 Sponge Daubers [133773] $9.00 Whisper White A4 Card Stock [106549] $15.75 Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' Pad [126983] $11.50 Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad [131180] $11.50 Marina Mist Classic Stampin' Pad [126962] $11.50
I'm happy and honored to say that I'm a guest designer this month for the color challenges at Splitcoast Stampers. Each Tuesday is a new challenge. This week's hostess, Karen, picked a fresh combo of colors - Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral, Peekaboo Peach and Pear Pizzazz. This was a simple and fun card to put together. Unlike like yesterday's card which presented some challenges and took awhile, this card went together quickly. And I LOVE this set. It's the first time I have used it other than a sentiment and it is WONDERFUL! I stamped and die cut a lot of flowers then starting arranging them. I used my phone to snap a picture when I was happy with the arrangement so that when I started gluing everything together I had a reference. Phones are extremely handy! After I had it all arranged I used a bit of baker's twine in crushed curry to wrap the stems. In playing with the set I realized that it would be perfect for weddings, anniversaries - any occasion where you might give a bouquet of flowers. Imagine this card with a wedding sentiment in the bridal party colors. And because of the variety of flower types - it even has tulips - the possibilities are endless. I'd say if you want just ONE floral stamp set, this is it! Products used: Stamps and die: Stampin' Up! Beautiful Bouquet Bundle - this bundle saves you 10%. After May 31 the stamps and dies will only be available individually. Individually: Beautiful Bouquet and Bouquet Bunch Dies: Stampin' Up! Today I'd like to share a card I made using the Wrapped Bouquet stamp set and coordinating dies. Products used on this card: Wrapped Bouquet stamp set & coordinating Wrapped Flowers Dies Subtle 3D Embossing Folder Night of Navy card stock Night of Navy ink So Saffron ink Mossy Meadow ink Whisper White or Basic White card stock Blending Brushes Stampin' Blends, Poppy Parade Linen Thread Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine Stampin' Dimensionals Liquid Multipurpose glue I used the new Blending Brushes to apply So Saffron ink to the background, giving the bouquet a subtle background. I stamped the images, cut them out using dies, and colored in the flowers with Stampin' Blends. Then it was assembled and adhered to card stock that I had embossed with the Subtle 3D EF to add some texture. The stamps and dies are available as a Bundle, saving you 10% when you purchase as a bundle. You can find the bundle in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. Item 156217 Stamp set, dies, and 3D Embossing Folder Blending Brushes 153611 Here are the measurements: Card base: Night of Navy card stock, 11" x 4 1/4", fold at 5 1/2", Another piece of Night of Navy CS: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"; emboss with the Subtle 3D Emboss Folder (Item 151775 in Annual Catalog); glue to the card base. Whisper White or Basic White CS: 5 1/8" x 3 7/8". Using the new Blending Brushes (153611), apply some So Saffron Ink to the center of this white layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Wrapped Bouquet stamp set with Night of Navy Ink in the upper right-hand corner. Two scraps of white CS: on one, stamp the bunch of flowers using Mossy Meadow Ink; on the 2nd piece, stamp the "newsprint" image in Seaside Spray Ink. Die-cut these images out, using the coordinating Wrapped Flowers Dies. Another scrap of white: stamp the "for you" in Night of Navy ink; cut out using the die for the little tag. Putting it all together: Color the flowers in, using Stampin' Blends in light & dark Poppy Parade. Add small black dots using a fine-tip marker (optional). Fold the newsprint piece along the score lines that the die formed when it was cut out. Wrap the folded newsprint around the base of the flowers. Using Linen Thread (104199), wrap around the news print twice & tie a knot &/or bow (I first tied a knot, then made a bow). Using glue or a glue dot, adhere the little "for you" tag under the tied bow. I adhered the wrapped bunch of flowers to the card front this way: put Stampin' Dimensionals behind the flowers and Liquid Multipurpose glue behind the wrapping; adhere to card front. Since the wrapping around the bouquet is already rather prominent, I didn't want to pop it up any more than it already was. That is why I just used Multipurpose glue behind it, but used the Stampin' Dimensionals for the flower section. That "levels out" the entire package. ( I hope that's not too confusing.) This is a fun set to play with. The flower images are so pretty, too. Make and send this card for any special person in your life - I'm sure they will love it! I hope you found some inspiration here, today. Let me know what you think of this card. I used the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet stamp set bundle to create a Mother’s Day card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.
Hello there, Gosh its Friday again, and the last day of June. And if you are in the UK you're probably asking if we're heading for Winter instead of Summer? Gosh, its been freezing up here in the North, we even had heating on a few days ago :( I am sharing a card which I should have shared last week as it was made to enter a Design Challenge but loosing my phone etc. scuppered those plans so here it is now. I was working with the ever so Beautiful Bouquet Bundle paired with the Jar of Love, as quite frankly these two were meant for each other. You can easily create wonderful works of art. OOoh La La !! Look at that swishy picture please? I am slowly, moving into the studio and doing more an more work there. And I spent a few hours today after a morning class, photographing lots of work to have it ready to blog, trying different spots to take the photographs. And I think I have found the perfect spot, right by my working area overlooking across the studio towards the entrance. :), the light seems to be perfect coming from the window on my left so we will have to see how it goes. Now back to the card, my idea was to create a bouquet of hydrangeas, so I only cut the smaller bunches of flowers from this set, in Powder Pink card then used the watercolour pencils to add colour to them and loosely blended them with a blender pen. I will admit it, I am a very impatient crafter and I don't like to take a long time over a card, after all the recipient takes one quick look at the outside, another quick look at the inside then they move onto the gift LOL But if you have the patience the results are far better. The jar, from the Jar of Love was embossed in white powder onto vellum, then tied at the neck is some linen thread and a little snippet of the gold mini sequin trim. I am telling you, I don't think I ever loved an embellishment more, truly. I mounted the piece of designer paper, from the Bundle of Love Collection onto some Gold Foil Sheet and did the same for the sentiment, this time using punches. I hope you enjoy my beautiful Jar of *hydrangeas*, I wish you a wonderful weekend and thank you for your visit. Till next time XOXO Monica

A new little Spellbinder die arrived, so I had time to play again at Color Hues #39 YAY! Spellbinder's little Bouquet of Flowers dies a beautiful Pinkfresh Floral Grid cover panel from a friend [thanks, Stef!] cut with the outer die from SSS Shimmer Oval that cuts the oval and leaves this pretty stitching. A second cut from this lovely purple that I embossed before popping it in place. The sentiment is one from Waffle Flower's Rejoice Rabbit. This week's Stamp of the Week is Wrapped Bouquet. It's a seven piece cling stamp set, and has a nine piece coordinating die set called Wrapped Flowers Dies. If you bundle them, you can save 10% off the individual prices. I made this card for my mom for Mother's Day. Don't worry, she won't see it until I send it .... she doesn't get on the computer much, and then it's mainly to play games, LOL. Her favorite color is red, so naturally that's what color the flowers needed to be. I kept everything else neutral so the flowers would really pop, along with the resin hearts. I was sorry to see the hearts aren't being carried over to the new annual catalog. Also REALLY sorry the Subtle 3D embossing folder isn't carrying over, too. *sigh* Oh well, neither is this stamp set with the coordinating dies, for that matter. Since this set is part of the Jan-Jun Mini, it will be around until the end of June, and there is plenty more to love coming next week! If you need a catalog, let me know and I'll send one out right away. Hi everyone! Today's card is my customer thank you card for July. Ever since I got the Beautiful Bouquet Bundle and Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder, I thought that the two were a match made in heaven along with the gorgeous Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Square Framelit Dies (crafting must-haves). I really love how this card turned out. During filming of this tutorial, I had inked one side of the embossing folder with Sahara Sand ink and used the splatter from the Timeless Texture stamp set. Upon looking at it I changed my mind and instead turned it over and used the plain white underside. I am glad that I went with the white version.I also added a couple of sprigs from the Bouquet Bunch Dies to fill out the flower bouquet after I had finished filming the tutorial. I hope you like the extra touches. Here is the video tutorial of how I made the card: If you cannot view it please click HERE on the YouTube link provided. I hope you enjoyed today's tutorial.
