Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Our weather was absolutely gorgeous! We must enjoy these days while we can. The snow will fly all too soon for me…I wish Fall could last forever! What better place to enjoy the sights, sounds & smells of Fall than the Farmers Market! We spent the morning there yesterday. The music, the produce, the flowers, the food etc. I snapped some photos & thought I would share! Get ready to come along for the day. LOTS of photos! Street musicians :: The trains :: This is a 3 dimensional train carved out of the brick. So cool :: Balloon Fun :: Too cute :: Fresh Lemonade :: Love bittersweet :: A little whimsical artwork on the side of a building :: We had a great time. I got my mums for our front porch too! 4 for $20.00…now I think that is a great deal! And they are NICE mums! Yay! Then it was time to head to the Primitive Treasures Fall Open House! SO many fun goodies & they let me take some pictures to share with all of you that couldn’t make it. The shop looked wonderful. Full of Alison’s handmades and unique antiques that her & her husband find to sell in the shop! So much to look at. Here are a few peeks! Enjoy! March-April 2013. Visit to the North East of England based in Bowes and then Durham. David Mach' sculpture was commissioned and created in 1997 to celebrate the rich railway heritage of Darlington. The Brick "Train" is a depiction of an LNER Class A4 steam engine made from 185,000 bricks. It can be seen near Morrison's supermarket on the A66 just outside Darlington.

German architecture firm Behet Bondzio Lin Architekten recently constructed a new headquarters for the Association of the Northwest German Textile and Garment Industry in Münster, Germany. The firm wanted the building to allude to the association’s work with fabric, and designed a facade that would imitate its folds through a gradient of bricks oriented at different angles.
