Daffodil Afternoon 3 Panel Card I can hardly wait until Spring! I thought I would hurry it along with this pretty Spring Daffodil card. The best part is this Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper can be earned for free during Sale-A-Bration until Feb. 28th, 2022! Check out the SAB Catalogue on the right side of this Blog. Directions: Cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz Card Stock to 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Cut a piece of the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper to 4" x 5 1/4" and attach to the card front. Cut 3 pieces of Daffodil Afternoon DSP: 1@ 1 3/4" x 4 3/4", 1@ 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" 1@ 1 3/4" x 2 3/4" Cut 3 pieces of Daffodil Delight Card Stock: 1@ 1 7/8" 4 7/8" 1@ 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" 1@ 1 7/8" x 2 7/8" Attach the DSP pieces together with the co-ordinating card stock pieces using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Emboss these 3 panels using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. Attach them to the card using Dimensionals. *Tip: Watch the direction of the Designer Series Paper so you don't have flowers upside down! Also do a dry fit before attaching the panels to get your spacing even. Stamp a sentiment using the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set onto a piece of Basic White C/S with Memento Black Ink. Attach a small strip of Daffodil Delight C/S under the sentiment. Attach to the card front using Dimensionals. Add a Brushed Brass Butterfly to the tag. I also used a Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends to colour the Basic White Bakers Twine. After it dried I tied it into a double bow and attached it to the card using a Glue Dot. I wanted to use another piece of the DSP inside the card. I felt this piece was fairly busy so I added a Stitched So Sweetly Rectangle Die using Basic White C/S to soften the DSP. I really like how it looks! I also made another card using the same DSP package, card stocks and layout but a different front layer piece of the DSP and a Basic White Bakers Twine double bow. This is such a great sentiment! Same layout, same Designer Series Paper, same card stocks but a different look! I hope you have some time to play today! Happy Stamping and Creating! I made this beautiful Sympathy Card using the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set along with the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper. It’s a Fun Fold, Z Fold card; so easy to make!
Today's Miss Monday cards were made using Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper (Daffodil Afternoon) and a Sale-a-bration stamp set, Special Moments. This card was inspired by Lola Rist (a Demonstrator I found on Pinterest). These cards look nearly exactly a like, but if you look closely to the one on the left you'll notice 3 extra flowers with a lighter shade of yellow. Those flowers were fussy cut out from another piece of DSP and attached with a mini dimensional! Here is what the inside of the card looks like! This FREE DSP comes in a 12 x 12 size which means I can make 6 cards out of one sheet and have some extra pieces leftover when making a 4 x 5 1/4 card front. Use that piece for the inside of your card to help add some color and carry over the DSP look from the front. I used the Special Moments Sale-a-bration stamp set for my greeting and stamped that directly onto the DSP in Mossy Meadow ink. I changed up my "usual" fold and just changed my score line and cuts for this card to be more of "stand up" card verse "open up". I made this card for the Queens swap and just LOVE how easy it was to make 12 of them. This photo shows a little better the 3D effect with the 3 daffodils that I fussy cut out. You can make this card too and get this paper and stamp set for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration. Click here to begin shopping today (sale ends February 28th). Supplies Special Moments Stamp Set Daffodil Afternoon DSP Paper- Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz Mini Dimensionals Ink- Mossy Meadow Always Recommended Paper Snips Trimmer Simply Shammy Die Cutting Machine Bone Folder Adhesives: Tombow, Tear Tape, Seal, & Dimensionals Measurements Mossy Meadow Cardbase: 4 1/4 x 11 scored @ 5 1/2 Pear Pizzazz: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 DSP: 4 x 5 1/4 4 x 3/4 Very Vanilla: 4 x 5 1/4 Steps Measure, score, and cut your paper. Fussy cut out 3 daffodil flowers from another sheet of DSP. Stamp in Mossy Meadow the saying onto the top left corner over the Very Vanilla on the DSP. Glue the DSP to the Pear Pizzazz. Glue the Pear to the cardbase. Attach the fussy cut daffodils with dimensionals. Attach the strip of DSP the bottom of the Very Vanilla and glue to the inside of the cardbase. Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!

WOW! This is a clean & simple card that I made last night. I love the way it turned out! It is bright & cheery & could be used for many different occasions. The black in this DSP just pops with the splash of colors added to it with the flower/leaf images. This DSP is the Daffodil Afternoon DSP that is a Sale-a-bration choice & you can get it for FREE with a $50 product order. How did I do it? Look how I layered the words........ 1. I stamped them onto a 2" strip of Very Vanilla card stock & punch it out using the Tailored Tag Punch. 2. I then used Basic Black card stock & punch out 2 Tailored Tag pieces. 3. NOTICE how I cut them using my scissors. One of them I cut in half vertically. And one of them I cut in half horizontally. 4. I then layered them behind the words. This is what it looks like from the back side when all layered together. *NOTE that I did snip off a little bit of the Basic Black card stock from each end of the Tailored Tag Punch once I got it layered together. This way there are even edges all the way around the layered words as shown above. I added the DSP strip along the inside edge of the card & it shows from the front then when the card is shut. Here are the supplies & measurements. stamp set: 'Special Moments'- Sale-a-bration choice & FREE with a $100 product order card stock: Old Olive- 5 1/2 x 7 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold for card base Old Olive- 3/8 x 3 1/4" Basic Black- 2" strip- punch out 2 pieces with the Tailored Tag Punch.
