Today, I am sharing my set of cards made with the April 2024 Sheetload of cards Template created by Alisha, of Call Me Crafty Al. Every month on the first she creates great templates which she shares on her YouTube Channel for free. You can get your free template from her channel, the link is below. With the template this month you can make 8 handmade cards with 2 sheets 12” x 12” pattern paper. The layout is super fun with a unique angle cut from the center piece. I loved playing around with this design. I wanted to play with the new UNBOUND BEAUTY DSP that will be available next month with the release of the new annual catalog. If you are interested in getting your own copy of this catalog, click on the link in the top right corner to request one from me. https://forms.gle/dVskg3VmRsq35vDo7 This paper is 12 x 12 and has floral patterns in bright pastel colors. Many of the colors used as part of the patterns are the new 2024-2026 In Colors. They are PEACH PIE, PETUNIA POP, PRETTY IN PINK, SHY SHAMROCK & SUMMER SPLASH. I am so excited to start playing more with these colors and see how they look with all the Stampin’ Up colors. For my cards I used Pretty in Pink & Summer Splash. For the circle on the card I used a 3” Die Cut from another pattern in the DSP pack. I like how it ties all the other colors together. The greeting I stamped in Berry Burst and then embellished with the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack and the Sparkle Gems. ———————— Supplies ———————— • Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper —— available May 1, 2024 • Pretty In Pink Cardstock —— available May 1, 2024 • Summer Splash Cardstock —— available May 1, 2024 • Gold & Silver 1/8" (3.2 Mm) Trim Combo Pack [161633] $9.00 —— https://bit.ly/4adzyLa • Basic White 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock [159276] $10.50 —— https://bit.ly/3OUrF2w • Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems [161288] $8.50 —— https://bit.ly/4aGbLU9 • Berry Burst Classic Stampin' Pad [147143] $9.00 —— https://bit.ly/3wftzGK • Irresistible Blooms Cling Stamp Set (English) [161140] $25.00 —— https://bit.ly/4cBiO21 Find out how to GET YOUR FREE COPY of the April 2024 SheetLoad of Cards, here: https://youtu.be/2z7-OYvW7hU I hope you enjoyed seeing these fun cards I made today. Welcome to the DO Stamper Stars Blog Hop. I am a member of the DO Stamper Stars team which is comprised of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are part of Dawn Olchefkse's leader team. Each month we participate in 2 Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our Goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing. As many of you know, Stampin' Up! did a color refresh with the roll out of the 23-24 Annual Catalog. 11 new core colors were introduced along with 5 new In-colors that will be available for 2 years. The challenge today is to use any of the new in colors. I chose to use Pecan Pie and Pretty Peacock which was a popular in color from a few years back. I also have the new Coffee with Friends stamp set I wanted to create with. The coffee & croissants image was created by coloring with the Stampin' write markers: coffee cups in pretty peacock and croissants/coffee hearts in the pecan pie. Oh, the wonderful new things Simon Says Stamp keeps coming out with...the Cold Hands, Warm Heart Collection that was released on Friday, is FILLED with Winter wonderfulness, and the Ring Frame die is especially cool to me, as it is a very versatile die, one that can be used for everyday cards as well as cards for the winter/Christmas season!! I made a couple cards!! The first one I made, I began with inspiration from a Sure Fit flyer I got in the mail (they are a company that specializes in sofa/recliner covers) and a pillow that was on the cover. Here's my card and inspiration... I LOVED the colors in this pillow!! I immediately thought to put my new die to use and make a much needed thank you card for a friend!! I used textured paper for my card AND the circles...the frame is a speckled off white paper and layered. The sentiment is Paper Smooches, glossy accented after layering. Here's a close up... The second card was made with Christmas colors, using a perfectly sized snowflake from last year's Simon collection along with two sentiments from the STAMPtember® release!... Again, I used textured paper with this one, and layered the frame and snowflake. Here's a close up... What a FUN die and what a FUN time I had!! Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa InLinkz.com
Bruno and I have had a very busy week with family visiting and my Grandfathers funeral - and Bruno has been creating some cards for when we go away and return so we can get ahead and inspire you all. One thing that he mentioned which was so interesting for me to hear, was how calming he found the card making. That it helped him to be less stressed. He turned off all electronic devices and just made cards... no distractions, no notifications, no pings of the phone.... and he said it was just so enjoyable. In fact he made over ten cards in one day! Woo Hoo!! So we have lots in store for you over the next few months. Here is a totally Bruno card that I wanted to share with you today. I know many of us struggle to make masculine cards and I thought Bruno's would be a perfect guide for you to know what a masculine card looks like. I want to point out some ideas that you may not have thought of. Firstly I love the geometric lines, there is no fluff to this card, straight, layered and bold. You can totally use colour mixed with some neutrals it is perfect for a masculine card. I love that he has been able to use ribbon - who would think masculine and ribbon could go together? It totally can! The way Bruno has doubled the ribbon gives it the look of something strong - like rope, which is masculine. So that may help you undo some theories you might of had about masculine cards. Are you wondering what the Designer Series Paper is?? Bruno totally got into #loveitchopit and used the new 6" x 6" In colour Designer Series Paper. This colour is the NEW Pretty Peacock and it is a gorgeous colour. Paired with the Crumb Cake - it is a winner! Thank you so much for coming by today. We love hearing from you. I really hope that you feel the same way about your crafting as Bruno does. That it can take you into a world of no stress - where you can just float away in your own little bubble of creativity. Make sure you take some time out for you and do this often. Make a stack of cards in no time at all with this quick and easy card layout! We will look at 10 different cards using the same layout but different papers. First, with Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. This is all you need for supplies: The base card is a quarter sheet (5-1/2' x 4-1/4') of Thick Basic White cardstock. The Designer Series Paper is 7-1/2' x 3-1/2'. Score that at 2-3/4' and fold. Attach that to the card base and decorate with sentiment strip and the accent piece, which can be a circle as shown... or

It's a good week when I can sneak into my craft room off and on and get 4 cards made by Wednesday. I used my new PTI Stuck on You die to create a rainbow of bandages for this vibrant and fun get well card. Obviously, I could only send this card to someone who wasn't seriously ill. I am entering this card at Make it Monday #314: Color Wheel and CAS-ual Fridays #194: Beautiful Rainbows challenges. With bright colors on my mind, I created a card using the PTI balloon stencil that I am entering at Just Us Girls #340: Balloons and Seize the Birthday Anything Goes. It seems like I am always needing sympathy cards--when I invite my family and friends to help themselves to cards from my stash, sympathy cards are amongst the most popular. I was inspired by the challenge at Less is More #366: Monochrome and CAS on Friday #127 One Layer Wonder to create the next two cards. This card is Memento Grey Flannel and Versafine Onyx Black ink on PTI Soft Stone Paper. This card is Versafine Onyx Black ink on kraft paper. That's it for me today. Sherlock and I are off to visit the patients at our local nursing home. Come back tomorrow to see what I have for our current challenge at Time Out #104. Thanks for Visiting
