Today's card is a combination of retiring and new products. I'm sad about some items that are retiring, and I'm excited about ALL the new products, so I've combined them on this card. Ok, so what is retiring that is featured on this card? The Lazy Days Bundle is retiring. It has lots of cute elements that I love, especially this sweet little birdhouse! And I like the 'welcome' sentiment. You don't find that often, and It is a sentiment that is needed! The card itself has a Basic White card base with another 5' x 3-3/4' piece of Basic

I’ll have a cherry coke please. How adorable is Daryl Hannah as Annelle in Steele Magnolia’s? I think I need to switch to cat-eyes now. Although the movie takes place in 1989, she has a 70’s vibe with her Missoni like top and hair centered down the middle. Well, whatever she has got going here, […]
Hello! Welcome to "Krafty Chicks" Thursday. March where does the time go, poof and here we are with another wonderful challenge, but first Diane has someone to introduce. Hey everyone, we are excited to introduce our Guest Chick for March. Shirley is an amazing and talented paper crafter and we can’t wait for you to see her projects. Don’t forget to share kindness and welcome her to the hen house. Here she is and a little bit about her. I am super delighted to be a Guest Designer for Krafty Chicks. I’m the Mom of two angel sons, six grands, and two great-grands. Our great-granddaughter is the love of my husband’s life. We don’t see our great-grandson very often. I suppose you could say I have made cards my entire life. When I think about those first cards sent to friends, I cringe. I was introduced to Stampin’ Up! in 2007 by a friend at the school where I worked. You can say I was hooked. For 10 years I bought SU products from others in 2017, I realized why not be a demonstrator and get the discount. I love sharing my cards and the creation of each one. I find it so rewarding to stand at my counter with stamps, dies, paper, and ink and feel good about the card I created and send it to someone to add a bit of sunshine to their day. Here is my personal blog site: "Stampin with Shirley G" Shirley Leanne Denise Diane Lori If you want to join us for this challenge, please link directly to your post, not just your main blog page, using Linky Tools. If you are uploading your projects to an online gallery, please use the keyword Krafty Chicks (eg. Splitcoaststampers, Pinterest, etc.) #kraftychickschallenge Alright....let's have some fun!

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am hopping along with other members of the Free Demonstrator Training Program by Bruno and Kylie Bertucci. I have learned so much through this training group since I first became a demonstrator. We love doing our Monthly Team Blog Hops with our general theme for all the hops being customer and team thank you or congrats cards. Today's Project Today's project is a thank you card that I am providing to my customers this month as a thank you for their orders. Demonstrators have been able to preorder the Online Exclusives that will be released in March and I received a few of my new favorites last week. I couldn't resist using one of them this month's card. I love spoiling my customers and I hope that they enjoy my gratitude as much as I enjoy sharing new ideas and techniques with them. Project Details Magnolia Mood is such a classic stamp set that is perfect for anyone who loves these blooms as much as I do. I love this bloom so much which is associated with the South so much. I hope that my customers will appreciate this touch of Southern hospitality that I will be sharing with them this month as they place their orders during these last few weeks of Sale-a-Bration! The largest image from the stamp set was stamped three times with Pecan Pie ink onto a Very Vanilla cardstock layer. The leaves and stamen were colored with Light Wild Wheat and Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends Markers. The sentiment was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and fussy cut to fit within the petals. The inside was layered, stamped and colored to compliment the card front. The Very Vanilla Medium Envelope was stamped and colored on the front and the flap to complete the card ensemble. Thanks for being with me during my YouTube presentation last night. I showcased three live projects using the Magnolia Mood Bundle. In case you couldn't catch it live, feel free to check out the replay below. The initial card features a distinctive die-cut window adorned with a stunning die-cut and watercolored magnolia, perfect for a birthday celebration. Utilizing the same bundle, the second card introduces an extra element to the background. I created a stamped background by directly coloring the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers. Following that, I embossed it with the Basics Embossing Folder for added texture. Every week,
