Hello, and welcome to my blog! It's the very last Sunday of 2019, and the 'Stamping Sunday Design Team' are showcasing our favourite products from the NEW 2020 Mini Catalogue, available 3rd January, 2020. Thankyou for joining me from Yvonne's Blog, or you may have started right here? Enjoy what we have created for you, and we hope to inspire you with some gorgeous NEW products. Get your Wishlist ready... I have created a 'Tropical Oasis' Shirt (not my design and how to make details below), and a card; remeniscent of a vintage style post card. I stamped the Palm trees using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Very Vanilla' cardstock. Colouring the trees with 'Watercolor Pencils' and a 'Blender Pen'. I daubed the edges of the die cut using a 'Sponge Dauber' and 'Crumb Cake' ink. The oval element has been embossed with the NEW 'Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder'. I then used the largest oval from the 'Stitched Shapes Dies'. The Palm Trees background from the divine 'Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper'. The 'Hello' sentiment stamped with 'Early Espresso' ink. 'Tropical Oasis DSP' shirt. You can make 2 shirts from 1 piece of DSP, and the tutorial to make your very own 'Tropical Oasis' shirt is here. Thanks to Carolyn Bennie for her Tropical shirt photographic tutorial - the best tutorial I have found! 'Rest & Relax. You deserve it' Card insert: 7.5cm x 10 cm or 3" x 4" (trim if required) Details... Buttons: I created Coconut buttons by stamping the 'Birch Background' stamp using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Soft Suede' cardstock. Punching with a very small circle punch (from the 'Itty Bitty Bit Punch Set'), and making the dots with an 'Early Espresso' Stampin' Write Marker. Pocket: Using the smallest die from the 'Stitched Nested Labels, die cut the DSP matching the shirt. Trim approximatley 8mm or 3/4" from 1 end. Fold over 3mm or 2/8", showing the back of the DSP. Adhere the pocket flap, and adhere the pocket to the shirt. Thankyou so much for being here, and I hope you have enjoyed my creations? Below is the list of the fabulous Stamping Sunday Design Team, and you won't be disappointed with what everyone has to share. I used the sweet Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Full Of Happiness to create a super simple card to share today.
The Stamping Sunday Blog Hop is celebrating the Mini Catalog, so I used products from the Best Dressed Suite to create a card and gift bags for my daughter!
My Meadow for a little bit of Monet Art Inspiration. I wish! But what fun to just create for creation's sake without any real plan in mind.

This image from Beautifully Braided worked perfectly for my Online Card Class homework assignment. The class - led by Kathy Racoosin - is about coloring techniques with different types of markers and colored pencils. Choosing Copic markers can be intimidating but Kathy shared this fun tip. She suggested the plucking technique - pick three different colored markers - a dark, a medium and a light and don't worry about the numbers. So I bravely grabbed a dark brown, a medium orange and a light yellow by looking only at the color and not the numbers. That is the fastest I have ever chosen colors and it all worked on my ginkgo leaves today! So thanks to Kathy for starting us out with simple, fun technique! So many possibilities with Jacquie's wide open sketch this week! Have fun with it at Freshly Made Sketches! It's back to the annual catalog for this fun card using the So Much Happy Bundle. I love the dies in this set. Such a fun different look! To start, using a piece of paper from the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper Pack. I cut it to 3-1/2" x 5-1/4". Next, I angled the die so "happy" is cut at an angle. I cut a small piece of Misty Moonlight card stock to use behind the die cut letters. Everything was attached to a piece of Bumblebee card stock cut to 4" x 5-1/4" and embossed with the Tasteful Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Bumblebee card stock and trimmed the ends with the new Banners Pick A Punch. I added a couple of 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots and adhered the banner to the card front with Dimensionals. Everything was attached to a Thick Whisper White Card Stock base. Welcome to the Artisan Design Team's Coordination Product blog hop! I hope you're enjoying seeing what everyone's doing with the different products from the release. Each of us got a different product to showcase. I'm happy to say that I got the Nature's Thoughts dies. These coordinate with the Positive Thoughts stamp set from the January-June Mini Catalogue. In addition to putting an end to fussy cutting, these dies also bring extra life to the set in the form of coordinating dies such as the fern fronds and the lacy border strip. Here are two of the cards I made with this stamp and die set, using Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow. This card shows off the extra die-cut fern fronds, which I've given a lick of Wink of Stella. It also show the lovely wavy stitched edged rectangle die. In addition to the die that matches the butterfly stamp, there's also a sweet lace-winged butterfly. The second card not only shows off the tiny lace-wing butterfly and the wavy stitched edge die but also the lacy border strip that's under the sentiment. Super, isn't it? As well as a die that matches the flower stamp, there's an interesting die that gives you a 3D flower centre. I've accentuated it by using the chalk marker to add some white to the raised sections and adding a large rhinestone to the centre. That very pretty maidenhair fern die cut is shown again in this card - really, it's just too pretty not to use! Last month, the Artisan Design Team did a hop using the various products from the Coordination Release when the items were available for demonstrator pre-order. If you missed that hop, or would like to refresh your memory, then here is the link to my post on that hop. In that hop, I used the Pleased as Punch DSP with the Heart Punch. From my post, you can carry on around that hop too. Make sure that you contact your demonstrator and order your Coordination Products today as they are only available until 31 March or while stocks last. Next up on the current hop is Lauren Alarid, aka The Crafty Little Peach, whose projects are sure to delight you. If you get lost along the way, here's a list of all the Artisan Team Blog links to help you back on track. Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY. Click here to see our fabulous page! To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selective Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues. This week, we are CASEING from the gorgeous new Mini Catalogue. And I was inspired by the lovely bright fresh card on page 54. I actually had the Granny Apply Green cardstock already cut and scored for a gorgeous fun sloped accordion fold, so adapted the idea from the catalogue to work with this fold. The background gorgeous bright paper comes from the Tea Boutique paper - works so well with the lovely Daffodil Delight die cut daisies from the lovely Dainty Delight bundle. The 21 x 21cm cardstock was scored at 7cm intervals and then sliced diagonally to create 2 cards at the same time!! I just love the amazing detail from the Dainty Delight dies - and the stamping fonts are so gorgeous in the Dainty Delight stamp set too. The only extra embellishment I have is some linen thread tied in a double bow. Make sure you keep hopping! Up next is the gorgeous Peta Dainty Delight fun fold So many gorgeous freebies to earn this month! Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!) And, if you can see yourself creating cards and sharing your love of papercrafts while inspiring others, perhaps you might be interested in joining my Stampin' Up! family - contact me to find out how. This week, week 32 in the Colour Creations blog hop we continue our journey featuring all of the Core Stampin' Up! colours, in alphabetical order. This week's feature colour Night of Navy, is another member of the Neutrals colour group, and as the name suggests is a dark blue colour. I have teamed Night of Navy with the very regal gold and Very Vanilla to create a Christmas card. I just love the combination of gold and Navy. I started by embossing a piece of Night of Navy cardstock using the Fern 3D embossing folder as I thought it went nicely with the large pine needle die cut from the Christmas Pinecone dies. I have used some of the Gold Glimmer paper for this. To make it easier to adhere to the Night of Navy background I have used a piece of the adhesive sheet. I have tied a piece of the Very Vanilla dn Gold ribbon around the band of the card as well as created a bow using the same ribbon. The sentiment is from Christmas to Remember and has been embossed using Gold embossing powder. It has then been die cut using one of the dies from Seasonal Labels. I have also cut a second one using Night of Navy cardstock to create a second frame on each of the ends of the sentiment panel. Finally I have added a few Gold Adhesive Backed Pearls to the background and also to the sentiment panel. Next in tonight's blog hop is our lovely host Cathy Proctor . I look forward to seeing her lovely creation. If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then you can hop over to our host Cathy Proctor's blog where you can see a full list of tonight's participants.
