Hello friends and Happy New Year! For me, 2019 is about trying new things. Particularly in my crafting. Have you ever made a Bendi card? This is MY FIRST attempt at a Bendi card. Honestly, I didn't know what a Bendi card was. I had to do a little research, gotta love google images. A Bendi card is b

#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations Our Stampin' Up group made some really cool cards at our new catalog gathering. The person who designed this series of cards using the "Perennial Birthday" stamp set and Petal Passion Designer Series Paper also showed us some fun fancy folds for cards. I'm glad to have some new ideas in my repertoire. Before we get started, I want to remind you about the awesome Perennial Birthday Project Kit in the Occasions catalog. You get supplies to make 16 cards and a beautiful box to hold them in. I'd love to bring the stamp set and inks to your house so that you and your guests can put together this wonderful kit. Please contact me soon to schedule your event! Once you've made all the kit cards, you can come back to my blog to make these stunning black and white cards! Today's card is no exception! We started with a Whisper White Card Stock card base, scored, as usual at 4-1/4". The front of the card is scored at 2-1/8" and folded back on itself. We stamped a sentiment and a floral sprig in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a Whisper White oval cut with a Layering Oval Framelit. We adhered that to a Basic Black scalloped oval cut with another Layering Oval Framelit. We used the 1/2" Circle Punch to punch a hole on the folded edge of the flap (not shown). We threaded a length of 1/4" Whisper White Organza Ribbon through the hole and around the top flap, tying it into a knot. Then we adhered the left side of the oval to the card, on top of the ribbon, with two Stampin' Dimensionals. We added two 1/4" by 2-1/8" strips of Basic Black Card Stock to the bottom of the flap. On the inside-facing part of the flap, we adhered another 1/4" by 2-1/8" strip of Basic Black Card Stock. And on the inside of the card (which is seen when the card is closed--and opened) we adhered a 5-1/2" by 2" strip of Petal Passion DSP. This card is quick and easy, but the fancy fold and extra touches make it a special card to celebrate YOU! tams# 19572 Product List Perennial Birthday Project Kit [145579] $27.00 Perennial Birthday Clear-Mount Stamp Set [145760] $22.00 Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad [140931] $7.00 Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [100730] $9.00 Basic Black 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [121045] $8.00 Petal Passion Designer Series Paper [145589] $11.00 Layering Ovals Framelits Dies [141706] $35.00 1/2" Circle Punch [119869] $6.00 Whisper White 1/4" (6.4 Mm) Organza Ribbon [145590] $6.00 Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] $4.00

A sweet sketch plus an oh so sweet picture of cupcakes led me straight to Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper! That's a lot of sweetness.....and a perfect card for a wedding! I was very happy this card came together quickly because Miss Emma decided we needed to have dinner at the lake. Our summers are so short that I never turn down the chance to be lakeside....... . The Big Guy and I bought this strip of land 41 years ago this month.....it never gets old.....too bad we do! And now Miss Emma beats us to the beach from the camp every time! Hope you find some sweetness in your day today - playing along at Fusion could be a good place to start! Stamp Set: Beautiful Bouquet Ink: Petal Pink Paper: Whisper White, Sweet Soiree DSP

Believe it or not, these Petal Pair embossing folder Narrow Note cards were inspired by a tissue box... yep, seriously! These cards were inspired by a Puffs tissue box, and you can watch the story in my video below in this post! :) Don't Miss It! Petal Pair Embossing folder, pg 23 Occasions catalog, #145656 Narrow Note Cards, pg 19, Occasions catalog, #145583 Additional crafting idea for your Petal Pair Embossing folder HERE I embossed each Narrow Note Card about 2/3 of the way with the Petal Pair embossing folder, then added different flowers to each one! Welcome to the first Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop of the 2016. Today we are introducing you to some of the great new products from the 2016 Occasions Catalog and the 2016 Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Are you ever in for a treat! I fell in love with so many of the new products that it was hard to decide which ones I wanted to get first. My first card features a new set from the Occasions Catalog. It's called Botanical Blooms and coordinates with the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies. I love those pop-up flowers. They give some great dimension to the flowers. You can find these products on page 26 and 27 of the catalog. What's great is that you can purchase the bundle and get the Botanical Blooms Stamp Set, the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies and the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper for a 15% savings. The cardstock is Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz. The sentiment is stamped using Rich Razzleberry ink and is from the Trust God Stamp Set found in the the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog. For the two leaves, I used Garden Green stamped on the Pear Pizzazz. I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a wee but of bling. For my next project I used the new stamp set Botanicals For You found on page 4 of the 2016 Sale-A-Bration Brochure. It's one of the free sets you can select when you place a $50 order. When I purchased the bundle mentioned above for $51.75, this is the free stamp set I chose. The card is a CASE (Cope And Share Everything) from page 5 of the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. I loved the way it looked but instead of stamping the sentiment in black, I used Crumb Cake. The little flowers are stamped using Real Red, Hello Honey and Pool Party. The little branches are stamped in Pear Pizzazz. I added Pearl Basic Jewels to the center of each of the flowers. The cardstock is Crumb Cake and Whisper White. It is a simple and easy card to make and would make a great one to use for a Stamp-A-Stack. What do you think? Okay, that all I have for you this time. It's time to move forward. Next up is Heidi Weaver. I always enjoy seeing what her creative mind puts to ink and paper. My big Miss turned 18 - wow what a milestone. I let her request what stamp set I used for her birthday card and of course she chose her favourite Text Ya Later! Hello stampers and crafters! Well aren't the weeks rolling around. Too fast I say! We are nearing the end of the Just Add Ink Challenges for the year with this one being the third last one for the year. This challenge that we have for your is one of our favourites by Just Adding a letter, with this one being Just Add 'I'. It could be icing, icicles, ice cream, stamp sets beginning with I, anything that incorporates the 'I'. I've stepped away from the Christmas creations for this one making a card with the Itty Bitty Birthday's stamp set, available to purchase Jan 3rd, and also adding some insects (butterflies) and some iridescent glitter and sequins for all my 'I' elements. I stamped the 'Happy Birthday' repeatedly on some Shimmery White cardstock with Blushing Bride ink, sometimes stamping the second and third time before re-inking. Once I had enough of the 'Happy Birthday's' stamped out I then die cut the cardstock with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Layered under the die cut circles is my new favourite DSP Botanical Butterfly that you can earn for FREE come Jan 3rd 2019 in the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration promotion. Just spend $90 on any products (not including postage and handling) and this amazing DSP is all yours. The coloured butterfly patterns are just amazing but what I love the most is the black and white patterns on the other side. I'm such a sucker for a black and white pattern. It's hard to see in the photos but the butterflies card covered in the Dazzling Diamonds Iridescent Glitter. I just covered them with the Fine-Tip Glue and the sprinkled over the glitter. The sparkle and shine on the glitter is just gorgeous! So much better in real life. There are plenty of other gorgeous designs by the team this week with their Just Add 'I', so do pop on over to the Just Add Ink blog and check them out! Thanks so much for stopping by! The Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Collection begins March 1 - May 31, 2008 . . . and I wanted to share some of the adorable stamps that I get to play with ahead of its release. I'm featuring two of the Mini's super cuties, "Big on Spring" stamp set and some absolutely sumptuous "Summer
Nature is the most amazing source of inspiration, which is why I've my Granny Apple Green card based on this gorgeous bunch of flowers.
This is my second card for card classes next week. Love the Butterfly Gala bundle- a great stamp set and a matching punch that cuts both of these butterflies out at once! I stamped the butterflies on a piece of white in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with my Stampin Blends in Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight colors. I used the Butterfly Duet punch and then layered the large one on a white stitched circle from Stitched Labels dies. I added a Heather circle behind. I have a Heather base and then a layer of Daffodil then a piece of white card stock cut with the Stitched Rectangles framelits dies. I layered a piece of the free Botanical Butterfly DSP at the bottom and stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather. I finished it off with a strip of the free sheer ribbon in Heather across. Loving the purple and yellow together. Free items like the ribbon and DSP are part of the SAB promo going on right now at SU! when you spend 50.00 in product, you earn a free product to chose from in the SAB brochure. Hope you have a lovely Tuesday and thanks for stopping by! I was totally inspired by a fun technique Cindee Wilkinson recently shared in her blog, and I made all of these cards with the flower and butterfly stamp from the Beautiful Day stamp set!! The flower and butterfly images are stamped with black ink (any ink will do) onto the Stampin' Up! Painted with Love designer paper, then fussy cut with Paper Snips! For the background of most of these cards, I used the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack! There are 72 total cards in the pack and i used the 4' x 6' cards
The Floral Romance Suite is one of my favourite product lines in the new Occasions Catalogue. I designed these cards and little bag from one sheet of the patterned paper from the Floral Romance Specia
Hello, I hope you all had a great spring break. My family was super busy so I didn't get any craft time. I was thrilled to get back into my office and create. Today's project is a birthday card using the Big on Birthdays stamp set. This is a great set because of all the different sentiments and fonts. LOVE! I also used the Stamparatus on this project which is not required but I wanted to show you this AWESOME tool! Check out today's video tutorial and hear about that Stamparatus! I was so sad to have missed OnStage on the weekend for the first time ..... but I was so thrilled that so many of The Crazy Crafters were able to attend. Bruno and I are still in the Philippines and there is lots of work to be done here so we know sometimes things happen that we can't make these events. I am so proud of my AMAZING team that not only looked after each other but also welcome others that don't have such a big team as ours. They are such AWESOME people. Included in these awesome group of demonstrators are those who are Silver Elite and above - these were treated to a special reception hosted by Stampin Up! The also received a special gift from me for their hard work. Yes a MIMCO bag!! WOW! My level one team members received a stamp set and level 2 and 3 a card and small gift of Rhinestones. I really appreciate my team and show them at these events. Here are the amazing awards that I was given this year!! Woo Hoo!! It really is such a bonus to my job as I love what I do and love that it enables Bruno and I to travel and do things for others. I was awarded - Number 1 in Sales for Australia Number 1 in Recruiting for Australia Number 1 in Leadership for Australia Overall I was ranked number 10 in Australia. And number 41 Globally out of approx 40,000 demonstrators!! WOWOWOWOW!! I know that I haven't done this alone though - my incredible team, my loyal customers, my number one assistant Jessie and super supportive husband Bruno have made this happen - so thank you to all of you for another amazing Stampin' Up!® year. One of the main reasons for the OnStage event is to see the new catalogue. I dont have a paper copy yet, however, I have seen it electronically. And, let me tell you (and, I know I say this for every catalogue), but this is the BEST CATALOGUE YET! It is SOOOOOO on trend and full of things that I love. Here are some of the amazing products coming up in the NEW Occasions Catalogue. NOW is an awesome time to join with so many amazing products coming. Click Here to join my Crazy Crafters team. Feel free to pin these new product boards to pinterest. PLEASE NOTE: The spoiler alert has been lifted and it is within policy to show you these new boards.

Hi everyone, Hope you're all well and if you're in the UK not suffering too much from the effects of the "Beast from the East" weather system we've been experiencing. Here in Surrey we had some snow but not so much that it really affected us and now it has all melted. But I know other parts of the UK have been affected much more and still have loads of snow and icy temperatures. If that's you, let's hope my project today can cheer you up. I started out making the peach version, using Peekaboo Peach as the base card, for a card swap I was participating in. I then decided to try it in other colourways - firstly the blue, using Marina Mist as the card base.... ...and then, as you'll see on the video, in pink, using Sweet Sugarplum. See my video tutorial by clicking HERE or on the image below: The measurements for the card are as follows: METRIC Card base: 21cm x 15cm - score at 10.5 cm to make a card measuring 15cm x 10.5 cm Stamped panel: 11.5 cm x 9 cm IMPERIAL Card base: 8 ins x 6 ins - score at 4 ins to make a card measuring 6 ins x 4 ins Stamped panel: 4.5 ins x 3.5 ins Two of the colours I have used here - Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach - are in the 2016-2018 In Colors set, which means they will be retiring at the end of May and no longer available. If, like me, you love these colours, it might be an idea to stock up now on card stock, ink pads and refills, as once Stampin' Up! announces the retiring list, the In Colors tend to sell out super quick. Hope you've enjoyed this project. I'll be back soon with another! Meanwhile, Happy Sunday! Jill xx All the products I have used to make this project are all available from my online shop.
