This pack of 5 embellishments was handmade by me. They are made with the "farmhouse" theme paper pack by The Paper Studio brand. They are embellished with banners, butterflies, hearts, enamel dots, and small word phrases. They pair nicely with any farmhouse theme of paper that you may have. They can be used for scrapbooking, card making, on your planner, or even as gift tags! The size of these embellishments ranges from about 4 inches to about 1 inch. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!

I am thrilled to have been asked to craft handmade embellishments for Scrapbook Heaven's kits. One of my favorite parts of scrapbooking is coming up with and creating my own embellishments for my pages. It's funny, now that I think of it, I very rarely purchase ready-made accents. Dies, punches, rhinestones and pearls--now that's a different story. Here's a look at the embellishments I created for the April kits: I had a blast putting these together. I think the mini pinwheels are my favorite! Some more pics, just because I took them! Punched word tags: I knew someday I would find a use for that punch alphabet set. OK, honestly, I nearly donated it two years ago. Glad I didn't--sometimes hoarding is good. Crepe Paper Flowers {tute here} Embellished Mini Tags: Cutie Pinwheels:
Well this is a special post today, a video and two projects, a card and tags set. I only made a video of the card. It was one of those, I need a few special cards and I need it now, so let’s…
Thanks for stopping by today! On my last post I mentioned I had been working my scrap room and organizing my embellishments. I shared a card I created with some of those embellishments. Well it was so much fun I decide to make a few tags. I LOVE having tags to ready to go in my stash. A pretty tag can dress up the plainest gift bag and make it special. On these tags most of my embellishments are from Maya Road. Who doesn't love pretty flowers, doilies, and pearl stick pins! The kraft ticket is from Maya Road and the sentiment is from the Birthday Greetings stamp set. My next tag is made for a handmade gift. I often give card sets to my friends as part of their birthday presents. They have made it perfectly clear that they hope to receive a set each year! I added embroidery floss to the wooden spools, prefect with the button stick pins. My last tag is really for any occasion. The camera and the sentiment are from a stamp set by Maya Road. I cut it out and added a rhinestone to the lens. I added a button to a paper clip and some gold glittered tape. The patterned paper used for my tags are from the Maggie Holmes Confetti 6 x 6 pad. Thanks for looking! Share:facebook - twitter - pinterest Embellished Gift Tags

Today I'm sharing a tag made from a VIDEO pf one of my favorite carmaker, Vicky, who's 2013 project is a GREAT Art journal plenty of techniques and inspirations. Her last work is about coffee and it's lovely, but I was inspired by april's one that was inspired by reading and I try to make the book pile she created (Let's check her one, it's amazing!!) con questa tag partecipo ai due challenge di Simon says stamp che hanno come tema Anything goes: SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY CHALLENGE SIMON SAYS STAMP WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE THANKS vicky!

Up-Cycled Junk Journal Tags: Made from scrap papers, recycled cardboards, ribbons/laces and more!!
DIY scrapbook embellishments are easy to make and add a custom touch to scrapbook layouts, greeting cards, junk journals, gift tags, and much more!
Hi everyone. I am always looking for new ideas to create embellies for junk journals and art journal pages, especially ones that use items up from my stash. While browsing on Pinterest last week, I found one of those and I loved it so much the way it was, that I barely changed anything. It was originally on a blog belonging to Dorota Kopec, a very talented art journaller and artist. She is from Poland and her blog is certainly worth a good long look as she has wonderful ideas and creations. Her tags clusters were used on art journal pages but I thought they would make awesome tuck spots for junk journals as well. I started by die cutting partial tags from both white and kraft cardstock. The white ones were 2 inches high and 2 inches wide. The kraft ones were 2.25 inches high by 2 inches wide. Both sets were inked around with Coffee Archival Ink and then Ground Espresso Distress Ink to deepen the edging. They were stamped with a variety of stamps using the same Coffee Archival Ink. Mainly writing or numbers stamps were used on the white tags and images or collage stamps were used on the kraft ones. White reinforcements were punched to surround the holes on the kraft tags and kraft ones created for the white tags. The tags were topped with very fine hemp and then overlapped different amounts and with either the kraft tag on top or with the white one there. I wanted to change them up a little. I created a few different embellishments for the tag clusters but before I adhered them, I had to decide the orientation on the page for each one. They would either be adhered along the bottom of the page or on either side. The one above would be adhered along the bottom edge of the tag cluster to allow something to tuck underneath with the tags holding it in place. The one above would be adhered to the left side of a page. For the black and white heart embellie, I stamped the heart from one of Carabelle Studio Hearts & Pebbles stamp set onto white cardstock with Jet Black Archival Ink, fussy cut it, and inked the edges with Coffee Archival. Then the edge of each heart was inked with Black Big Brush Pen to help frame it. A small threaded vintage button was added over that and a scrap of cheesecloth was layered underneath the heart. Similar steps were taken using a thread label stamp and also a die cut primitive heart. I also did a few using a tiny crocheted doily topped with a corrugated cardboard punched star. or a vintage white button. I think they all turned out really sweet and can see how they could be further adapted depending upon the tag paper and embellishments used. A big shout-out to Dorota Kopec for the wonderful idea! Thanks for stopping by today. That was awesome of you :) Life is good; so is art. Bonnie
Welcome to our collection of delightfully unique handcrafted gift tags, where creativity meets practicality! Our special set of gift tags is designed to add a personal touch to any gift, enhance your scrapbooking projects, make your cards more heartfelt, and bring a whimsical element to your junk journals. Each tag is carefully crafted from high-quality cardstock, ensuring durability and a premium feel. Adorned with beautiful ribbons, these tags are not just accessories but a testament to thoughtful craftsmanship and a love for detail. Each set includes three tags. We offer the green tag with a paper flower and adorable button center in one set. The tan set has a bit bolder flower with dark brown button centerpiece. I also used music paper for this one to add texture and give it an antique feel. The third set is one lavender card stock with paper flowers to welcome spring and summer. Do you like gift tags? I love them. Big or small, simple or elaborately even overly decorated… Actually there is no such thing as an “overly decorated gift tag”. It is amazing how, in so little space, you can create and say so many “words”. The best thing with gift tags is that you can use even the smallest pieces of paper in your craft collection. I started doing exactly this in the process of creating my huge paper… um… carefully chosen selection of lovely, beautiful pieces, which I didn’t want to use, because of their beauty. If you read…

If you joined the Gummiapan live last week you might recognize some of todays tags, but there is a couple of new. I used a brown paperbag and an offwhite old paper to make those tags. Circletags decorated with images I made with some of the dies from last weeks release. I also used some of the stencils from Gummiapan: no. 6, 12 och19. Njut av dagen! Enjoy your day! /DT-Karin
My sweet friend and my upline Lisa and I attended the Stampin’ Up! full day Regional Event in Louisville, Kentucky the last weekend in October and it was wonderful! Our trip was so fun and we saw some amazing color on the trip. God is truly in the details. The demo demonstrations were awesome and I truly appreciate the time that my fellow demonstrators gave to teach us new tips and techniques. And the home office gals- well what can I say. Terrific as usual. One of the traditions at all Stampin’ Up! events is the “Swap.” Many of the attendees make a number of “swap” cards or other items and swap with other attendees…well, you get the picture. And here is a photo of the two tags I made for the swap. I made about 75 of the first tag as my general swap and then around 10 of the more detailed tag. Both tags use Creative Elements and Established Elegance and on the general swap I used the fabulous Morning Mocha Specialty Designer Series Paper. I had so much fun making these and can’t wait to get started on my Leadership swap item that will be held in January in San Antonio. AND, at each we could add our swaps to be taken back and shared with the Home Office staff. From those the Stampin’ Up! staff attendees chose their two favorites and announced the winners at the end of the day. Boy was I honored when Bonnie Thurber called my name and flashed a photo of my more detailed tag on the big screen! What an honor when she said that one reason they chose my tag was it looked like one that Shelli would make. (Shelli Gardner is the co-founder of Stampin’ Up!). I managed to make it to the stage to receive a beautiful card and gift certificate. I absolutely loved the tag and am so pleased that others did too! Well, not gonna toot my horn again for awhile. But I had to share that with you. We spent the weekend in Franklin with a little “under the weather” sweetie. More about her on my next post. Blessings to all, Diane
