Just a quickie post tonight ... Peaky Blinders is on the telly, one of the very few programmes I sit down to watch properly! This one is inspired by Kimberly's card over at the Muse challenge. I've used an oldie Stampin Up image - coloured with watercolour pencils. Clear gloss added to the windows and little mini gems to the flower centres. The dotty line is a silver pen which I also used to colour the wheel hubs. My image is also a Stampin Up that I came across when I was looking for the truck stamp. Coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss/glitter added to the candles. I'll explain about the prizes a little further down but first, let me share my project with you. If you didn't know this little fact about Cath--she's an extraordinary paper cutter. We're not talkin' paper dolls, but serious, mind blowing paper cutting. Check this out. Image source Pretty amazing, huh? That design was the inspiration for Heartfelt Thanks, a set that features a stamp of Cath's gorgeous hand cut heart. Here's my card. I white embossed the heart on watercolor card stock and ink distressed with several inks to make the design pop, then flicked some water over the surface. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and clear embossed, then the panel was cut with the rectangle element from MFT's Blueprints 24 and adhered to a white card base. The finishing touch was a sprinkling of sequins. * * * So let's talk PRIZES! Technique Tuesday is giving away three prize packs.
