PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING ORDER: 1. All caricature art is non-refundable once the order has been drawn. 2. These sketches are one-off drawings like you would get at a fair or festival. There are no proofs, changes, additions or subtractions, or collaborations. 3. If you are remotely self-conscious about how you might look, this might not be for you! CARICATURES are just for FUN! Likeness is not guaranteed but I do try my best with the pictures you provide. I may see a person different than someone who actually knows them but please keep in mind that it is an artists interpretation of the person from the photos that I receive. WHEN PLACING ORDER: 1. Please attach photos in a message on this site of the people or pets you want drawn. Tap the CONTACT button and type your message and attach photos there. People or pets do not have to be together in the pictures to be drawn together. Individual close up photos where the entire head is visible are the best. Also a candid expression that is typical of the subjects personality is optimal. Include names of people or pets in drawing just so I can keep track of who is who from your pictures sent. 2. Include all eye and hair color for each face to be drawn. 3. Any extra information you’d like included in the drawing. (Note: Additional themes and backgrounds will require the purchase of a THEME ADD-ON to be drawn) 4. Desired deadline for receiving artwork. Turnaround for each caricature is usually 2-3 weeks depending on complexity, quantity ordered and amount of work orders received here at the studio. This is an ESTIMATE, but if order volume is heavy it could take a bit longer. 5. Completed caricatures are mailed to the address provided on your account so please make sure it is up to date. 6. Size is 12x16 and suitable for framing. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have! Thank You for Shopping JustinDrawsYou!

I’m looking forward to seeing the Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” soon, so I thought I’d take a new stab at the late, great Freddie Mercury. As usual, the original of this sketch is available in the Studio Store.

Subjects suggested onsite by the class, 10-15 minute sketches…
Here’s my take on Salvador Dali. Between his “10 minutes after 10” mustache, the buggy eyes and his mugging for the camera, he’s a lot of fun to draw.
Here’s another “Workshop warmup” 10-15 minute sketch from my St. Louis Workshop last weekend… action/comedy star Jackie Chan.

Famous people are in the limelight more often than not and this makes them the subject of much adulation, attention, adoration and also ridicule. This means that they cannot take a step outside without some form of them being recorded for all posterity. This kind of attention and constant analysis of their life is such a big part of famous people, that though they lament the lack of privacy on one hand, they also miss it when they do not get it all the time. That is why it should not surprise or shock you at all to know that artists tend to make famous people the subject of their art forms whether it is painting, sculpture or photography. But in this article, we are not going to be looking at pretty portraits of famous people but at caricatures. Caricatures, by their very definition are a humorous rendition of a personage with the exaggeration of a feature or two of the person it is depicting. While we can all agree that the dashing looks of John Travolta has made many women swoon, a caricature exaggerating his prominent jaw would definitely be amusing. We are sure that when you look at lovely Beatles artworks to appreciate in caricature form, you will appreciate it especially if you are a fan of this group.
