Witajcie, dzisiaj przybywam z piórkową, kolorową inspiracją pełną mediów, z zawsze aktualnym przesłaniem, z mocno zmediowanym tłem i cudnymi piórkami wyciętymi z arkusza Galerii Papieru.

Hallo! Hello! for englisch, please scroll down underneath the pictures! When everything is stuck together, you can now fold the middle flap down SEE THE PICTURES FOR INCH MEASUREMENTS! For the card base I used card stock pretty peacock 14x28cm, fold(=Yellow lines) at 5-9-19-23cm plus one piece of 13x10,9cm, fold at 1,5 -11,5 of 13cm and at 7 of 10,9cm, Cut away(=Pink) the 3,9cm on both side flaps. Stick (See the green on the pictures and a dark green line on the sketch) the side flaps to the middle card, close to the scoring lines at 5 and 23 cm. I used DSP 2 pieces of 4,5x13,5cm and 1x 3,5x13,5cm for the outside of the card (stripes) 2pc x 4,5x6,5 cm for the inside (flowers), 1x 9,5x6,5cm (dots). you will also need fussy cut shoes, handbag, perfume bottles, I also used some precision glue for accents. The fussy cut elements are adhered with pieces of window sheets (142314). I used white cardstock that I embossed with the bigshot, 6x 2x4,5cm; 3x 2x9,5cm For the mirrors I used silver Foil (132178) and Cardstock, cut out with the ornate frame dies (150664) I took the Rhinestones pretty peacock (149494) for the drawer handles. The sleeve is a stripe of cardstock 4 by 29,8 cm or 1 9/16" by 11,3/4", scored at 10 and 24 cm. I Hope you can understand how to make this card.. I might make a video tutorial next week...
Happy Tuesday, friends! I'm back with another mixed media meets cardmaking project using the newest Verve release. I painted and stained these hearts a while back for an art journal page, but ended up going a different direction so I tucked them away for safe keeping. {grin} Mark doesn't know it, but this card is for him. We've both been working hard at our new healthy lifestyle and he's just been a rock. He's my motivator when I feel like sitting on the couch instead of hitting the gym... my cook when I don't feel like cooking (which is pretty much all the time) and he's just a constant source of encouragement and support. This weekend will be our 8 week weigh-in with our trainer and combined we've already lost over 40 pounds. Pretty amazing and I know I wouldn't have been able to make this change without him, so I wanted to make a card for him. I chose these grungy primitive hearts because they're unfinished, imperfect, a bit flawed... but still beautiful, just like us! I stamped the leaves from New Mercies behind the hearts to represent how we're growing and flourishing together. The corrugated part up top represents how we're stretching ourselves and the bits of sparkle are those glimmers of our true personalities that are beginning to shine through again. The lace and twine blends masculine and feminine and ties it all together. Okay, was that enough symbolism for one card? {grin} I can't help it... I'm a hopeless romantic, thus the "my heart is yours" sentiment from Small Phrases. Speaking of personalities shining through, it's amazing how different I'm beginning to feel. More confident, more energetic, more creative... more ME. The ME that's been hiding away for far too long. The ME I've been desperately trying to wake up is beginning to stir and it's starting to feel like those obstacles I once thought were unscalable mountains are really only high hills. I'll get to them and beyond soon enough! Thanks so much for stopping by today and "listening" to my rambling thoughts. I hope you take a little time for yourself today to remember the person you want to be and do something that puts you closer along the path to becoming that person! Enabler's List: Stamps: Small Phrases, New Mercies (Verve Stamps) Paper: Crumb Cake (SU!), Cream Ink: Versamark, Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, paints and distress stains Accessories: Charming Banner Die Set (A Cut Above by Verve), Primitive Hearts dies (Sizzix), corner chomper, paper crimper, lace trims, flower, scrapper's floss, Light molding paste, champagne glass glitter, clear detail embossing powder

Good morning everyone. Hope all is well with you and yours. Thank you for your wonderful comments on Mr D's Valentine card. Hope he likes it as much as you all did lol! A big warm welcome to Lynne and Swissie. Thank you for following my crafty witterings. Also, welcome back to Norah, Ita, Val and Michelle. Today brings another challenge from Moving Along With The Times and this week's theme, as chosen by our beloved leader Hazel (Didos) is PASTELS. I hope you get chance to pop along and see what my talented team mates have created for your inspiration. Now, my card came about by looking at some of the fabulous wedding cakes made by the very talented Ron Ben Israel. He does some amazing cakes with flowers cascading down the tiers of the cake and I thought "how can I do that on a card?" And this is what I came up with. I wanted it to be as dimensional as possible to make it look like a cake. Ingredients White card (Lime Tree Crafts) Cream, lilac and purple Lidl 135gsm paper SB Bitty Blossoms SB Botanical Swirls and Accents (for the leaves) Tonic Flower punch Docrafts Flower punch That Special Touch Elegance mask (used to emboss the tiers) Lilac satin ribbon (Mei Flower) Bundled Sage DI Pearls You can really see the dimension on this shot. All I did was bowed each layer as I stuck them down. This could be used for a wedding card, birthday or christening even. I was really pleased how it came out as it was just as I imagined (a rare occurance lol!!!) Hope you like it and can join in the challenge at MAWTT. Now some messages for my sponsors. . . . . Mrs B, saw your post on Sue's blog the other day. Hope all goes well with the new grandbaby. Linda, I use a Grand Calibur myself and the Anna Griffin die cuts like a dream. Christine, some of my Piggins were gifts so I couldn't part with them either. Karen, I'm not sure that channel setting the roses protects them when posting, especially if you get a particularly hamfisted postie but it does keep the depth under the 25mm large letter limit. Anne, I am more than happy for you to take any inspiration I may give and for you to run with it. Its a pleasure to know that you feel inspired by something I've done. Today's card may also be useful for your wedding cards too. Well, the throat still is not 100%. Haven't tried the goose grease and brown paper that Nurse Harrop suggested but I have been sucking Fisherman's Friends. . . . . . . .they are throat sweets before anyone outside the UK thinks I've been involved in some dodgy home remedy hahaha! Until next time, take care and be good. TTFN Ang x
